Trapped In The Abyss

Kaito's gaze locked onto a distant point, his expression frozen. His eyes glazed over, and his voice trailed off as he whispered, "What is going on?!"

A faint, distant battle cry echoed in his mind, the sounds and images blurring together in a disorienting haze.

A soft, gentle voice called out to him, "Kaito... Kaito..." but it was drowned out by the din in his head.

Suddenly, a woman's face appeared before him, her warm smile a stark contrast to the turmoil in his mind. "Kaito!" the voice exclaimed, piercing through the fog.

Kaito's eyes snapped back into focus, and he took in his surroundings. Mizuki stood beside him, her brow furrowed with worry.

Yukiko stood opposite him, her eyes filled with concern. "Are you okay?!" Mizuki asked, her voice laced with urgency.

Kaito stumbled to his feet, his movements stiff and jerky. "I-I'm okay!" he stammered, turning and striding away.

"Let's go!" he called out, his voice firm.

Mizuki and Yukiko exchanged worried glances as they watched him walk away, their faces etched with concern.

Meanwhile, 

A porcupine-like Spec rolled away, desperate to escape, but a blur of speed pursued it. Ryujin swung onto a tree branch, his eyes fixed on the chase.

"It's moving fast, but..." he started to say, but he cut his words short.

Flames erupted, engulfing the scene and fusing into hovering fire orbs above him.

"Ember Barrage!" Ryujin shouted, unleashing a rapid barrage of boiling fireballs at the fleeing Spec.

The fireballs tracked the Spec's retreat, exploding on impact with its body and creating fiery blasts that sent it flying out of the smoke.

The Spec struggled to regain balance.

"Kuro, now!" Ryujin called out.

Kuro emerged from the smoke, diving toward the ground. "Don't tell me what to do!" he yelled at Ryujin, his face agitated as he punched the earth, "Molted eruption!" He yelled out, causing it to shake and split open.

A fissure ripped across the ground, racing toward the Spec. 

Immediately molten lava erupted from the floor, engulfing the Spec in a fiery vortex.

It began to shriek but they were drowned out by the roar of the lava, and it melted away, its form dissolving into nothingness.

As the ground began to close up, Ryujin landed gracefully behind Kuro. "I wonder how the others are doing," he said, his eyes scanning the horizon.

"Who cares how they are doing! If they die here they're weak!" he said, his voice echoing through the smoky landscape. Then he began to walk forward, Ryujin looked at him as he walked away "I hate this mud!!" Kuro yelled from a distance

Ryujin smiled and followed him, "Kuro you said you're just an X-spec for fun?!" he said, Kuro still struggling to walk past the mud with his face agitated "Is that enough to risk your life over?!"

Kuro stopped and then walked out of the mud slowly "Yes... " He said softly, "Yes it is..." then he walked away quietly 

Ryujin's eyes widened in surprise as Kuro walked away, then he took a step forward, but froze, his head cocked to the side. "Can you feel that?!"

Kuro stopped, his eyes narrowing. "Yes... What is it?"

Ryujin's expression turned grave. "I don't know, but it's coming from all directions... This climax pressure! It's intense!"

Meanwhile, Kaito and the girls strolled through the forest, the wind swaying towards their side, "So Yukiko... Why are you in X-specs?"

Her face became gloomy and she began to pant heavily, Kaito turned around "Yukiko?" She snapped out of it and looked at Kaito

"Is anything wrong?!" Mizuki asked with concern, her lips parted about to talk but then suddenly they all felt a thick pressure around them

"Such Climax Pressure!!" Kaito said, "Whose is it?!" 

They moved their gaze around looking for the owner, at that moment seeds flew through the air from within the forest about to pierce Kaito.

Immediately he noticed and turned around to face them, his eyes focused on them, he swung his arm, slicing them in two with plasma edge sending the pieces in different directions,

"Kaito, are you okay?" Mizuki asked, her voice laced with concern.

"Yeah, I'm alright," Kaito replied, his eyes narrowing as he thought back to the attack.

"But something about it felt off, almost like..."

Before he could finish, a vine snapped out from the underbrush, wrapping around his left leg like a whip.

Kaito was yanked off the ground, flying through the air away from the girls.

"Misuki screamed, her voice echoing through the forest. "KAITO!"

Yukiko's eyes were wide with shock, her lips parted in a silent gasp. She couldn't utter a word as Kaito soared through the air

"Come on we have to go help him!!" Mizuki uttered immediately and took a step, then from all directions razor-sharp seeds were shot towards them almost hitting them,

Ryujin gazed down at Kaito, who was sprawled on the ground. "Well, this is a surprise... You miraculously fell from the sky... so you can fly too, huh?" he said with a hint of sarcasm.

"If I could fly, I wouldn't have fallen." Kaito chuckled, rubbing his head. 

Ryujin smirked. "You're right, though... Oh, and speaking of which..." "You landed on Kuro..."

Kaito's eyes widened in surprise. "Huh?!" he exclaimed, as Kuro growled, "Get off me!"

Kaito quickly stood up, chuckling, and Kuro rose to his feet, his eyes blazing with anger. "You want round two?!"

Kaito held up his hands. "I don't have time for—" But before he could finish, seeds shot towards Kuro.

"Watch out!!" Ryujin yelled, unleashing a wall of fire that incinerated the seeds.

 "There's more." Kuro snarled, more seeds rolled towards them, the seeds opened, and plant specs crawled out.

"What!" Kaito yelled as Ryujin walked forward, blasting the specs with fire.

But more kept coming from all directions, and Kuro shouted, "We're surrounded!"

The three of them backed each other, their eyes scanning their surroundings.

"I knew this place felt weird..." Kuro muttered.

"Since we arrived here, a weird pressure has been building up around us... Now I realize, this isn't a forest... We're in the body of a Spec!! The entire body is a Spec!"

Kaito and Ryujin's eyes widened in shock as a deafening roar echoed around them.
