New life Challenges

A loud sound woke me up. there was somebody knock on my door that you thought something was going on outside the room. So I stand up and when I opened the door I was exposed to a thick smoke and didn't see anything else even my mother. To my great surprise and nervousness I lost consciousness.

when I woke up I turned around and saw Mark carrying food towards me.

"You're awake, Marlieja, I've been worrying about you for a while. I brought some food for you to eat so that you can regain your strength." I don't understand what Mark means why he says like that.

"Aren't you remember anything?" he asked me "I remember when I came out of the room there was thick of smoke". I stopped suddenly and ..

Mark took me to their house and talked to his mother

"Mom, can Marlieja live here with us?"
