<CARL'S POV>

PAIN!

It is all I can feel currently. It feels like I am being corroded from inside. Its too painfull to describe anything.

Yet as this pain brought by Abyss Sun Crow Flames which is caused by burning of his body impurities and weak cells, I was reaching my limits of enduring pain. I finally heard the voice I was waiting for.

"Your body and soul is at your limit, quickly use Blue Life Pheonix Flames before you suffer some life threatening injuries." Sister soul said.

Hearing her I quickly tried to absorb Blue Life Pheonix Flames according to my Sun Moon Body Refining Technique.

Unlike Abyss Sun Crow Flames which brought unimaginable pain to me by burning me inside out, this Blue Life Pheonix Flame gives a peaceful and soothing feeling.

At first every place these flames reach all the pain disappeared and all hidden injuries I have suffered at any time in my life, even during training were healed.

"Be careful of what's coming."

As I was immersed in the peaceful feeling, I was interupted by Sister Soul voice and her warning. Hearing her voice I was confused for a second before I felt a horrible sensation.

All of sudden, all soothing and relaxing feeling disappeared instead a familiar pain came back. But before I can shout in pain soothing feeling came back. Both of these feeling are changing too rapidly, and that increased my pain by a great margin.

Previously Crow flames brings great pain, but my brain would decreasey sensation of pain raptors to save me from going insane due to pain. But now due to interchange in both pain and relaxing feeling, my brain is not able to decrease my pain raptors. This is the cause of increase in pain.

"Hold on Carl, if you pass this stage you will directly breakthrough in Sun Moon Refining realm."

"Bu.. But its to.. too painfu.." I couldn't speak anyone due to agonizing pain and starts screaming.

"I know, I kno.. Wait. I have an idea, though it may be wasting it, but I guess we don't have a choice." Sister soul muttered before hurriedly ordered.

"System use Enlightenment Card now."

Suddenly I felt as if all my pain and pleasure disappeared. Its not that pain has been lessened but it was like I was in a trance like state.

As I was in feeling peaceful in trance like state, soon I noticed that in my body two type of energy are currently fighting.

Feeling intrigued I tried to probe it. When I reached it with my senses (which I don't know how) I can sense/feel them somehow. One is dark red in color and gives very destructive feeling, on the opposite is a steel blue colored energy which gives a soothing and relaxed feeling.

If what the dark red is radiating is destruction type of energy then steel blue one is like nature or more appropriately Life energy.

As I was immersed in feeling and understanding of these energy. I didn't notice the time, even after my body absorbed all these energy I still sat in meditative pose, lost in trance or better put enlightenment.

—3 Days Later—

It took three days for Carl to woke up from his enlightenment state.

Exhaling a deep breath Carl opened his eyes, and looks around in confusion for a second before gaining clarity.

Seeing his body cultivation at Sun Moon Refining Realm, and surprisingly at Mid level Carl gave out a good laugh.

"Looks like using of Enlightenment card was a good move." Sister soul says while interrupting his laugh.

"Yeah thanks about that, otherwise I don't think I could complete this safely." Carl said with a dread in his voice.

Changing the subject Carl asked Luna about Steve and his group. Soon knowing everything about their group's doing.

"Looks like I have to put a hold on bloodline fusion for a few days."

He gave Luna few orders.

"Send me their current location, I'm gonna meet them and make sure they won't make same mistake."

"Okay."

"And notify me when the (Convergence) start, as I think we should also expect Thor's visit. I want to know about it."

Getting their location, I created a portal outside their secret base. As I was inviting myself in, I heard arguments between Fury and Steve on their opinion on SHIELD's future.

Knowing that if I didn't interfere they will go with Steve's plan and destroy SHIELD with HYDRA, which in my opinion is utterly foolish. You should understand how much advantage would it be to have SHIELD help in Avengers fight against Ultron or Thanos.

<PRESENT>

"My, My. I am sorry to say this but I can't allow you to do it." I interupted them, thought they all turned their weapons at me the moment they heard my voice.

"Carl is it you?" Steve asked in wonder

"What are you doing here? Thats not important. Why do you say that you can't allow us to destroy SHIELD."

"Steve I know you are angry but understand they are needed here to protect Earth." I sat down on nearby chair while motioning others to calm down.

"See finally someone who agrees with me." Fury said.

"Calm down One-eyed Pirate. Even though I agree with you, there will gonna be some reform in it."
