My eyes remained glued to the screen, still processing what I saw as the notification appeared.
"Emergence of Evil: The race of demons has arisen."
"The Demonic Dragon has been crowned as the First Demon King."
Reading those words made my heart feel heavy, a weight settling in my chest. I didn't fully understand why things had unfolded this way. The emergence of demons was not something I had anticipated, let alone the corruption of the second primordial dragon, turning it into a Demon King.
It only confirmed what I had suspected—it had to be connected to that 'Thing'. The same dark presence I'd noticed earlier from it. Everything pointed back to it.
I sighed heavily. Just when signs of civilization were finally starting to flourish on Soleria, this had to happen.
Before I could reflect any further, another notification flashed across the screen.
"The demon race is attacking the elves."
Without a second thought, I switched the screen to show the High Elf village. The sight that greeted me was chaos. The village was being overrun by demons with purple skin, horns, and grotesque animal features. It was clear the elves were losing the battle. The village walls had already fallen, and most of the elves lay defeated on the ground, some dead, others barely hanging on.
Only three elves were still standing, surrounded and cornered by the demons. Among them was the silver-haired elf I had noticed before, Seraphine. She fought alongside two others—a man and woman, both with blonde hair and green eyes. But it was clear they wouldn't last much longer.
I watched, feeling a strange mix of responsibility and determination. This world, Soleria, was my creation. I couldn't just sit by and watch it fall apart.
As I wrestled with that thought, another notification appeared on the screen.
"High Elf Seraphine is praying to the God of Creation for help."
I shifted my focus to Seraphine. She stood in the middle of the battlefield, her hands clasped in front of her chest in a desperate prayer. Even in the midst of chaos, she had hope.
Another message followed right after.
"Will you grant them your blessing? Yes/No."
"Is that even a question at this point?" I muttered, immediately clicking Yes.
On the screen, I saw the effects of my blessing almost immediately. A golden light began to circle around the three elves, making the demons pause, confused. The elves themselves were bewildered, looking around as the divine energy healed their injuries. Though they hadn't regained consciousness yet, their wounds closed rapidly.
Then, a brighter, more intense light engulfed them, and when it finally dimmed, something had changed.
"High Elf Seraphine and her companions have been blessed by the Creator."

Seraphine's POV
The day had started like any other, peaceful and serene. The High Elf village had been thriving, and for a moment, I allowed myself to believe things would stay that way. But that peace was shattered when the demons attacked.
We were caught completely off guard. One moment we were basking in the sunlight, and the next, fire and death rained down on us. The village was in chaos—our walls, once impenetrable, crumbled as the demons poured in. They were unlike anything I had seen before—twisted creatures with purple skin, horns, and the savage cruelty of beasts.
I fought alongside my people, but it was clear we were losing. I could feel the weight of despair pressing down on me as one by one, my comrades fell. Soon, it was just me and two others—my closest companions and friends, Sareth and Elara, cornered by the demonic horde.
My heart pounded in my chest. There was no way out. We were surrounded.
In that moment of desperation, I did the only thing I could think of. I closed my eyes and prayed. I prayed to the God of Creation, the one we had been told created this world, the one who watched over us from the heavens.
Please... if you are truly out there, save us.
I opened my eyes, expecting nothing, but then... something miraculous happened. A golden light surrounded us, and I felt warmth radiating through my entire being. My wounds began to heal, the pain fading away like a distant memory. I glanced at Sareth and Elara—they too were bathed in the same light, their injuries vanishing in an instant.
Then the light grew stronger, enveloping us completely, and I could feel something deep within me change. It was as if a power, ancient and dormant, had awakened inside me. When the light finally faded, I knew we were no longer the same.
The demons hesitated, sensing the shift. I didn't wait. With newfound strength, I charged forward, my blade cutting through the air with ease. Sareth and Elara followed, their movements faster, more precise. Together, we fought back against the demonic horde, cutting them down one by one until none remained.
---
The village was eerily silent after the battle. The other elves, who had been unconscious, slowly began to stir, waking to the sight of the three of us standing victorious. Their expressions were a mix of awe and disbelief.
I could hardly believe it myself. We had been saved—no, we had been blessed.
"Our Lord, the Creator, has saved us," I whispered, my voice trembling with emotion. "He heard our prayers and granted us his blessing."
The others looked at me, then at each other, and one by one, they fell to their knees in reverence. "Praise be to the Creator," they chanted.
As we stood there, another notification appeared in the air before us, though this time it was heard by all.
"Congratulations, High Elves. You have proven yourselves worthy. You have not lost hope even in chaos"
"As a reward, I bestow upon Seraphine the title of Queen of the High Elves and from now on you shall be known as Seraphine Astralheart"
"Sareth and Elara, as a bonded couple, will rule alongside her as Lord and Lady and I will grant them the name of Silverlef"
I felt my breath catch in my throat as I heard the words. Queen of the High Elves? The Creator had chosen me to lead. I glanced at Sareth and Elara, who were just as stunned as I was, but we quickly knelt together in gratitude.
From this moment on, my life, my heart, and my soul were devoted to the one who had saved us. The God of Creation. The one true ruler of Soleria. "From this day forth, I vow that my life will be devoted to you, to the one who saved us all. Every choice I make, every breath I take, will be in your name. My soul, my loyalty, belongs to you."
