Sansha's gaze remained hard as she watched the traitors, her demeanor unyielding. "And what about them, young miss?" she asked, turning to Tessa.
Tessa's eyes narrowed as she evaluated the prisoners. "These ones only joined Talvin right in front of us in this forest," she replied coolly. "I doubt they know anything useful. But still, check their backgrounds.
Those who have committed crimes, make them an example. Use them to serve as a warning to others who might have intentions of betraying humanity."
Her gaze then shifted toward Kael, who lay incapacitated under Suhan's boot. Kael had been working closely with Talvin, making him a key source of information. They didn't yet know if Talvin was acting alone or if there was a larger conspiracy at play, but Kael might have answers.
"Interrogate him thoroughly," Tessa ordered Suhan, her tone firm. "Extract every bit of information he has. We need to know if there's more to this than just Talvin."
