CHAPTER 089
A week of vacation together, outside of town. The seven days were taken down to five days. Tiana seemed to be thinking of a way to make the given time shorter than five days. However, Lyndon could discern that she wanted to be with him for that long, but she was simply denying it by repudiating his initiation. Lyndon was very used to Tiana's reaction in each of their interactions, he knew what she would say or what she would do. She became predictable to him.
He stared at their hands which were intertwined together. She was not trying to break free like how she usually would. Like him, she was used to him too. However, unlike him, he could say, she did not know him… she could not read his mind nor predict his actions. She didn't even know what was going on in his mind that he—was not even sure what was.
