[T/N: I DIDN'T REALISE THAT THE AUTO POST HAD RUN OUT, GUYS! TELL ME IF I HAVEN'T POSTED YET!]
Everyone was in the great dining room of Black Castle awaiting the arrival of Augusta Longbottom and her grandson Neville.
The elves had taken great pains to prepare a feast for lunch.
Outside, Harry and Hermione were waiting, accompanied by the girl's parents. Behind them, along with the teachers, were the rest of the young students and of course their families.
Suddenly, on the beach area set up for apparitions and portkeys, a group of five people materialized. Three of them were regular residents of the place, Minerva McGonagall, Filius Flitwick, and Andromeda Tonks.
The others were the expected visitors.
" It seems they are waiting for us," said Andromeda.
" Augusta." Minerva began." I would ask you not to be upset." The eldest witch looked at Minerva without understanding." Some of the residents are somewhat… disconcerting."
" I am well aware of young Mr. Potter's condition, " the woman replied.
" I don't mean that." Minerva stopped her." You'll notice when we get closer. Remember, there's no danger!"
About twenty meters away they could see the hosts accompanied by several other people. Around them were several… black animals.
At last, the woman recognized them.
" Merlin and Morgana!" said Augusta Longbottom." They are…!"
" Yes. They are Grims." the Scottish woman answered. Neville at her side turned pale." But don't worry Augusta, it's completely safe!" Minerva clarified." They are all relatives of those present." the woman looked at her quickly.
"Everyone?!" she asked in disbelief. The Scottish woman nodded.
" Grandma…" said a scared Neville behind the witch.
" Calm down Neville." she said." I trust Minerva and if she says it's safe I believe her." that didn't help the boy much." Now I understand why you told me not to take out my wand as soon as I arrived and not to be alarmed."
" Let's continue, our hosts are waiting for us," said Andromeda.
The group climbed the gentle slope that separated the beach from the castle entrance. As they got closer, the sight of the Grims became more intimidating. Although the fact that they were all sitting calmly like ordinary dogs or being petted by some human was… incredible.
Harry didn't need them to get close to observe the Longbottom matriarch with his Lupin powers that allowed him incredible vision. The Dowager Longbottom was just as Neville had described her, a serious, stern-looking older woman. Hermione looked at him and smiled. The image of Severus Snape's boggart, dressed in the clothes the woman was currently wearing, came to the couple's minds. They had to control themselves from laughing. The woman's face showed surprise for a moment.
[T/N: Dowager means widow or dignified old woman]
It was not the same with her grandson, who tried with difficulty to hide his fear.
His friend Neville was dressed in robes befitting his station and seemed to be looking better than he had the previous year.
At last, they arrived in front of the group. Harry stepped forward and Hermione followed him.
" Madam Longbottom, it is a pleasure to have you in our house." Harry began." allow me to introduce you to my wife Hermione Potter-Black." the woman raised an eyebrow in surprise. At her side, Neville opened his mouth in disbelief." We are accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Granger, parents of my wife, Miss... Tonks." The metamorph nodded in relief." Daughter of our common friend Andromeda and these are the rest of the students of our learning institution. I believe that our esteemed friends Filius and Pomona need no introduction." as they were named, those in question gave a slight nod of their heads in greeting.
" Learning? " asked the interested woman.
" We all suffer from the same problem and our society's solution to it is well known. " the young man answered. " We decided to do something to correct it within our possibilities. We were lucky to have the best instructors that our world has today. " Harry smiled looking at Minerva, who let out a small smile. The boy pointed politely inside. " If you wish we can talk more about the subject after lunch."
" It's a splendid idea, " the woman replied. " I think you already know my grandson."
" It's good to see you again Neville," Harry said happily to the boy as he approached to greet him.
" And me, tooooo!" the boy tensed when a Grim approached Harry.
" Don't worry, Shadow is my friend and family." said the boy." He won't do anything to you." The young Longbottom nodded with a nervous laugh.
" And don't believe any of the nonsense they say about the Grim, " added Hermione.
As they entered, Augusta started small talk with Pomona and Emma. Neville approached his former classmates.
" So married, huh? " he said smiling.
" We'll explain it to you later."
{SCENE BREAK}
They had spent a couple of days teaching young wizards how to behave properly.
With a tutor like Andromeda Tonks, daughter of the House of Black, few dared to contradict her or protest her decisions or corrections.
The lessons were a success and they could see Augusta looking at the young people with a look of approval.
As expected, the delicacies were a complete success.
Ironically the only point of tension came when Emma had to scold her husband for throwing a couple of pieces of meat at his Grim, Night Owl.
The Dowager Longbottom dismissed this by pointing out that her late Edmund had done the same with Aquila, an eagle he had raised from a chick.
After lunch all the children retired to their rooms and the adults gathered in the library.
Neville was allowed to stay for part of the meeting. Afterwards, Lavinia and her friend Daisy would show him around the greenhouses.
Then Augusta Longbottom was furious. They had barely finished telling her the true story behind how the couple were bitten and what the old man wanted to do to them. The woman stood up and began to pace around the room cursing in Gaelic. Neville looked at his grandmother, surprised by her behavior. More than one would be surprised by this image of the impeccable woman.
They explained how they ended up married and their plans to remain hidden and away from the old man and the entire community.
Of course, Andromeda would be in charge of being his voice in the Wizengamot.
" I think it's time for Neville and the younger ones to take a walk," said Miss. Longbottom, seeing where the conversation was heading.
Harry and Hermione didn't take this very well. But the brunette took her husband's hand to calm him down.
" Harry is the head of my family." Andromeda said." He is the lord of this island and the one most affected by anything we plan. There will be no meeting if he is not present." Everyone present nodded in agreement. Augusta realized she had said something inappropriate." Any conversation or decision I will communicate to you as soon as possible."
" I think I spoke without thinking." said the old woman." I'm sorry." she finished looking at Harry and his wife." Neville, please give us a moment."
The boy walked out, giving his friends a small smile as he passed. At the entrance, two girls were waiting for him, playing with two large Grim puppies.
" Hello." the boy said somewhat nervously." Harry told me that you would take me to the greenhouses."
" Yes. I'm Lavinia and this is Bruma," she said, caressing her familiar.
" I'm Daisy and this is Nebula," she said, holding on to her familiar.
" Nice to meet you." said the boy.
" Come!" Lavinia took his hand and they all went to the greenhouses." Harry and Hermione will talk to you later."
{SCENE BREAK}
In the room, the group expressed their ideas and fears. For more than an hour, they organized themselves into a common front. Somehow the Widow Longbotton knew that this meeting had changed her life.
At the end, they agreed on several points in common and promised to show them to the other families when they met with them.
Neville returned amazed by the number of incredible plants in the island's greenhouses. And that was even though they were not allowed into two of them because they contained dangerous species.
As soon as he met up with his grandmother and the rest, he went straight to Harry.
" Would you let me come work in your greenhouses?! " he asked excitedly.
" It's no problem for us, " Harry replied, looking at the boy's grandmother, who nodded. " But you'll have to discuss it with Professor Sprout."
" And remember that you can't come during the full moon week! " added Hermione.
" Okay, whatever! " said the boy, looking hopefully at the former herbology teacher.
" Only if you have your grandmother's permission, " said Pomona. The boy turned to look at his grandmother with puppy eyes.
" Next week." the woman said." The Potters have several important meetings that cannot be interrupted."
" But I'll be in the greenhouses, they won't see me! " the boy asked.
" Augusta." said Pomona." I don't think there will be any problems with that."
" All right, " she said at last. The boy clenched his fists in victory.
" I'll send an elf to pick you up, " said Harry. " Remember that no one should know about this place, " he warned him.
" Just to be safe, you'll be checked for spells and portkeys every time you come in," Tonks added.
" Yes, it's worth it! " said the boy, ecstatic. " It's great! " he looked at his grandmother. " They have plants that were thought to be extinct! " he said.
" Thanks to Professor Sprout, " said Hermione amused. The woman blushed at hearing her.
After a dinner as good as lunch, the Longbottons said goodbye to the island's inhabitants.
The first meeting had been a success.
{SCENE BREAK}
Two days later, the second meeting took place. This time with Amelia Bones and her niece. They felt more confident with this meeting. Amelia had already offered her help when they tried to bind the couple's magic in St. Mungo's. So they left with more support than with the rest.
Everything was similar to what happened with the Longbottom family. Except that Amelia dropped her facade when she recognized the Grims and was unable to put it back on.
Susan, on the other hand, let out a scream before fainting.
When she woke up she hugged her aunt tightly.
" I saw a Grim! I saw a grim! " she said crying. " I'm going to die! I don't want to! Booooooo!"
" Calm down Susy, there's nothing to fear." said her aunt." And you didn't see a Grim." The girl looked at her holding back her tears and moaning." You saw at least ten." the girl burst into tears again.
" That's just nonsense! " said Harry. " If it were true that whoever sees them dies, we would have been dead for over a year already. " Susan recognized Harry Potter's voice and looked for him.
" Harry... Potter? " She asked, looking at him. The boy nodded. She saw the brunette at his side. " Hermione... Granger? " She cried again. " Yes, I'm already dead."
It took a good while to calm the young girl down and assure her that she was not in danger.
Only when Bruma approached and began to lick her hand did the girl look at him with some fear.
" Careful, Susan! " said her aunt jokingly. " A fearsome Grim puppy has licked you. " she snorted amused. " That's at least one month less to live."
" Auntie! " the girl complained. The redhead saw the puppy and slowly ran her hand over his head. The little Grim moaned gratefully for the caress. She let out a smile. " It's very soft."
" Lavinia likes to wash him with the shampoo she uses." said Hermione." Although I know she doesn't like it very much." she finished looking at the black puppy.
" Yes, but she doesn't complain about how soft her hair is. " said the young woman moving forward to grab her familiar. " Hi, I'm Lavinia and this is Bruma, my familiar."
" Hello," Susan answered.
They were able to have a late lunch somewhat more calmly.
The conversation in the library was then repeated. Amelia already knew most of it and only filled in a few points that even the inhabitants of Blackrock didn't know.
For the second part of the meeting, Susan was accompanied by Lavinia and Daisy to the greenhouses. Where she met Neville, much to her surprise.
The rest of the meeting with Amelia was much easier than with Mrs. Longbottom. She knew firsthand many of the old goat's manipulations.
Susan returned with Neville. The somewhat frightened boy greeted the Bones Witch.
As expected, Susan asked to join the Longbottom boy on his visits. She was attracted by the greenhouses and the fabulous library, as well as the possibility of being able to do magic without restrictions. Something that surprised Amelia. The truth was that what attracted the young redhead the most was the possibility of playing with Lavinia Daisy's Grim puppies.
Harry agreed on the same conditions as Neville.
Amelia accepted and Susan became Blackrock's second daily visitor.
{SCENE BREAK}
For the Greengrasses and the Davies, they had decided to hold a joint meeting. Amelia even offered to act as mediator, along with Andromeda.
The two families would visit Black Island on Saturday.
Everything happened in a very similar way to the two previous times. This time, those who fainted were Robert Davies' wife and Mrs. Greengrass.
As Harry and Hermione expected, Daphne remained impassive. Behind her, Tracey and Astoria tried to do the same.
By the time the meal was over, Astoria seemed more interested in playing with the puppies than listening to anything else.
The rest listened to the story of Harry Potter and his wife.
For the second part of the talk, as was already customary, all the young visitors were accompanied to the greenhouses.
There they met Neville and Susan.
Upon their return, the Greengrasses and the Davies recognized the heirs of the other two families and realized that everything they had discussed had already been thoroughly studied. This only gave them more confidence in this association when they realized that they would form a very powerful group in the government.
The girls were allowed to visit the island. Everyone was sure that the most frequent visitor would be Astoria. They were wrong. Daphne and Tracey disappeared into the incredible library for hours on end each time.
Andromeda reminded the group of Luna Lovegood. Cyrus Greengrass thought she could be an interesting ally. Especially if they included her father. They would have a journalist on their side and could benefit from the publication. Even with such strange topics, they had a large readership.
{SCENE BREAK}
Luna Lovegood was accompanied to the island by Minerva. They decided that including her father might be… risky for the moment. The eccentric Xenophilus Lovegood had even gone so far as to publish how he showered properly, in great detail.
Without a doubt, publishing about lupinids would not be something he would pass up.
The young blonde, contrary to what they expected, smiled when she saw the Grims, and even petted Shadow. The creature wagged its tail, pleased with the treatment.
" Hello you both and congratulations on your wedding," said Luna. Everyone present looked at her, not knowing what to say.
" How did you find out about…?." Harry began.
" The Knarless told me." the young woman answered." I know that I shouldn't go to some places. But they have advised me to visit the library and the greenhouses." everyone looked at each other without knowing what to say.
" Miss Lovegood." Flickwich began." Has anyone told you anything about this place?"
" I already said it, the Knarless! " the young blonde responded as if it were the most normal thing in the world.
To everyone's surprise, the young girl adapted very easily. She became the older sister of the Dockins siblings. They, like her, had seen their mother die. The young Ravenclaw turned out to be a great help with the two withdrawn little ones.
{SCENE BREAK}
The end of summer marked the beginning of a new year. The usual visitors had to say goodbye as they would not be able to return until Christmas. Neville and Astoria tried to convince their guardians to let them study on the island.
As incredible as it was, both the Greengrasses and the Dowager Longbottom had to think about it for a few moments. They had seen the place and seen that the level of the students on the island was far superior to that of their counterparts at Hogwarts. Even so, neither of the two young people got their wish.
That last month of summer had brought the six of them together, so much so that they dared to share a compartment on the express.
They evidently had problems with Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy. The blond Slytherin was quickly controlled by Daphne and Tracey.
A couple of curses and a quick explanation of why he was an idiot and they weren't. Arguing that the blond hadn't thought about the positions of everyone present.
Draco looked around at everyone in the carriage. He had no problem recognizing each heir. He reluctantly had to admit that there was enough political power in that carriage to be noticed.
With a grunt that sounded like an apology, he left them alone.
Ron Weasley was not of the same opinion and Neville had to knock him down with a punch when he insulted the girls. This won him many points with all the young ladies who saw him. He earned the nickname of the garden gentleman, something that embarrassed him and amused the ladies.
Albus barely noticed the approach of such a different group. He was completely absorbed in the organization of the Triwizard Tournament.
Without Harry, whatever happened on the express was just the tantrums of children who he didn't care about.
{SCENE BREAK}
The first meeting of the Wizengamot in September was devoted solely to the Triwizard Tournament.
Albus took advantage of the good atmosphere to try to win some supporters to his cause.
He was surprised when he was only able to convince one person. Many had begun to approach a new group that had formed. The regent of the Potter and Black seats was talking very animatedly with Augusta Longbottom, Amelia Bones, Cyro Greengrass, and Robert Davies.
If they all united, they would create a very powerful group in the Wizengamot. He was sure that many other families would end up approaching them. It was already happening! Some were already starting to talk to them and he had even heard a couple of them asking for their opinion on some law or proposal that would soon be discussed in the chamber.
When he tried to get closer, he immediately noticed how everyone's expression had changed. No doubt they were already on guard against him. He greeted them politely and continued on his way in search of another possible ally. In his head, this new relationship was beginning to raise many questions.
That night when he arrived at Hogwarts he had a thousand things on his mind. Without realizing it he began to look for the heirs of those families. When he saw them all enter together and take a place at the corner of the Hufflepuff table... he had to end this.
" May I have a moment of attention?" he said to all the students." I've noticed that several of you are starting to sit with your friends from other houses!" he smiled." I think that is a laudable and admirable fact!" Some applauded." But I have to remind you that everyone must eat at their own table! So I am very sorry to ask everyone to take their corresponding places!" To his amazement the group remained seated." Ladies, Greengrass, Davies, Lovegood, and Mr. Longbotton! Did you hear me?!" he said. Daphne was the one who stood up.
" Yes, Headmaster! " said the Slytherin. " But we're waiting for it to finish!"
" Finish who?!" he asked.
" Finish your statement and tell us where in the Hogwarts rules it says what you said! " explained the blonde Slytherin. " I mean, if we're doing something that goes against the rules, I'd like to know what rule we're breaking!"
" I don't remember exactly which one, I'm sorry! " said the director. " But I would ask you to return to your seats!"
" I happen to have a copy here! " said Luna, holding up a small book. " It says here that seating in the Great Hall will be free choice, except for official or representative events! Such as the start-of-year dinner and the closing dinner! " explained the young Ravenclaw. " I'm sorry, Mr. Headmaster, but there is no further clarification on the subject!"
" Damn brat!" said Snape." The headmaster has given an order and you must obey!" Albus pretended to try to control him but deep down he was satisfied.
" Okay!" said Luna." Then I apologize!" With that, she stood up as did the rest. Albus smiled with satisfaction.
His satisfaction was short-lived as everyone, including the Bones girl, headed for the door.
" Is something wrong?!" He asked.
" Yes!" Neville turned around." There is no rule in the Hogwarts statutes that shows that what we have done is wrong!" he pointed at the director." You have used your position, as is your right!" he added." So that we obey you!" he smiled." But it is our right not to attend meals in these conditions! Since it does not imply a teaching obligation and it is an option!"
" I think you are taking this too seriously! " the old man began. " I only want everyone to socialize with their own housemates!"
" And what about my family's friends?!" asked Daphne." Recently there has been a certain bond between our families and between us!" murmurs were heard in the room." I think you must have noticed something at the last Wizengamot meeting?!"
" Yes, it is true!" He sighed knowing that the young people had started the year with the lesson well learned." I see the error in my way of seeing the situation! I apologize and I retract my last request!"
" Thank you, Mr. Headmaster! " said Neville. " We're done anyway, so with your permission, we'll be leaving!"
" Longbottom!" shouted Snape." Twenty points less for Gryffindor!" moans were heard from the lions' table.
" Very well!" said the boy shrugging his shoulders." After all, it's not something that worries me!" murmurs again.
" How dare you?!" said the assistant principal." Another twenty points for disrespect!" the boy didn't even flinch." You're not saying anything?!" he asked satisfied.
" I've realized something!" said the young man." Thanks to my lovely companions!" he said greeting his companions. The girls nodded in satisfaction. Even some among the rest of the students saw how the shy boy had gained self-esteem and courage. This made him rise several places among the most sought-after males." The house cup has ended up losing its meaning!" exclamations were heard from all the tables." I can guess from the first day which house will win at the end of the year!" he said looking at the table of the snakes." Even if they don't attend class!" he looked at the vice-principal." Why should I worry about something that we will never have?! Besides, the points that I win or lose will not influence my life! Only my final grades! Which will be given to me for my exams by qualified personnel from the ministry!" many murmurs broke out in the room. Albus realized that the boy had opened a line of thought that did not suit him. "I will limit myself to attending class, obey the rules, and stay out of trouble!" said Neville. "The rest is not something that worries me!"
" Fifty points from Gryffindor! " Snape almost shouted. " And a month of detention with me!"
" I will only serve my detention if you prove to me that I have broken a Hogwarts rule! Otherwise, I will inform my grandmother, who is a member of the board of governors! " the young man replied, surprising many with his new attitude.
" Taking shelter behind your grandmother Squib!" said Draco Malfoy wanting to stand out and laugh at the Gryffindor.
" Ironic coming from you Mr. Malfoy!" said Daphne." At least Neville will communicate with his grandmother for a valid reason!" she smiled sideways looking at him." Not because the rest of the house does not fulfill his whims or someone has dared to contradict his big ego!"
" Miss Greengrass! Detention for messing with a classmate! " said Snape. More than one person held their breath as they watched the feared professor punish one of his snakes.
" Telling the truth is not considered a fault last time I checked!" she replied." I am willing to defend my words in front of the board and with a pensieve!" she looked at Draco Malfoy." Are you willing to do the same, Mr. Malfoy?!" Draco fell silent but everyone could see how his face took on a color very similar to Weasley's hair." I thought so!"
" We will carry out the detention if you show us what our crime was! " said Neville to Dumbledore. " Until then...! " With that, he gave a slight bow and turned to leave.
With that, the group left the room. A few others left the place, no doubt to report back to their homes what had happened.
Snape tried to follow them but Albus stopped him. Still annoyed, he sat down and with a look silenced most of the students.
At the teachers' table, Albus thought about everything that stupid idea of trying to separate the group had cost him.
He didn't need these problems with the tournament on top and with the visits of the other two schools.
He would have to meet with each young person separately to try to convince them or hopefully find out what their families intended.
He was especially surprised by the character that the Longbottom boy had developed. He had thought of making him the new chosen one, but that idea quickly fell silent when he realized that with his behavior no one would follow him.
But now instead… it might even benefit him to be so close to all the young girls and their families. He just had to find a way to keep him under his control. It was a pity that Augusta was still alive.
{SCENE BREAK}
The young men's movement caused a much bigger ripple than Dumbledore had anticipated.
Every head of household with a seat on the Wizengamot, who had a relative at Hogwarts, received an owl with a detailed report on what had happened.
At the next meeting of the governing body, more than one person would be in for a big surprise.
In addition to that, the rest of the students quickly realized that it was not very smart to mess with any of them since they would only end up being attacked by all of them.
That lesson was quickly learned by the entire Ravenclaw tower. Luna Lovegood began to have the best year at school of her life. Her things didn't disappear, she had friends, and the other eagles left her alone.
Only a few did not learn their lesson. Some Slytherins, led by Draco Malfoy, and a couple of Gryffindors, the main one being Ron Weasley, the most stupid.
{SCENE BREAK}
Just one day before the arrival of Beauxbatton and Durmtrang, Albus Dumbledore was not having a very good day.
Two of his collaborators had begun to move closer to the new power block. And a couple more, whom he had been courting for some time, declined to have any relationship with his ideals.
As soon as he returned, he sent a message to have a private meeting with Neville Longbottom. Although it would not be very private since Severus would be with him.
At the appointed time, his alerts notified him that the boy was in front of the Gargoyle with Aurora Sinistra, the new head of his house.
Albus allowed them to enter. The boy entered with strange glasses that looked like two mirrors. He didn't expect the Astrology teacher to stay either.
" Miss.Aurora please leave," he said.
" I'm sorry sir, but Mr. Longbotton asked me to stay as head of his house." replied the woman.
" It's not necessary." replied the old man.
" So what is Professor Snape doing here? " the young man asked.
" He is the deputy director and I have complete confidence in him. " the old man replied as if his word was more than enough.
" I understand. But I'm afraid I don't agree, " Neville replied. " Professor Sinistra is the Head of my House and if I've done anything wrong, she must be present."
" Our conversation has nothing to do with your studies, Neville." added the old man with his usual good-natured grandfatherly face.
" Then it is better for my grandmother to be notified and meet with us, " the young man replied.
" I don't see why…" the old man began.
" I have nothing to talk to you about other than my studies, Headmaster, " added the young man. " So if you want to talk about something else, I'm sorry that my tutor must be present. Otherwise, I'll have to leave."
" You useless little brat! " said Snape, standing up. " The first thing you should do is take off those weird glasses and speak respectfully to your superiors! " Neville, instead of being intimidated, grew up.
" I am Neville Longbotton, Heir of the Longbotton family! Of all those present, none have a status comparable to mine to be my superior! " He looked at the old man. " I respect the wisdom and titles that the headmaster holds. " He looked at Snape. " But I see no reason for that to make him someone above me. " He touched her glasses. " As for these glasses ... " He smiled. " It is my right to take the necessary measures to protect myself. I know that both of you are Skilled Legitimists. " At his side, Aurora tensed and looked at both men. " And since my ability is not yet very developed, I must use these glasses to protect my family's secrets. " He looked at the old man again. " The law protects me in this. As the head of the Wizengamot, you should know."
" I just called you for an innocent chat, " said the old man, putting a tone of disappointment in his voice. " I'm upset that you think of anything else."
" If I have misinterpreted the situation, I am sorry, " the boy replied. " So if you want, we can talk about my studies or call my grandmother. Otherwise, I will leave."
Snape went to jump and the old man stopped him with his hand.
" I'm afraid we're all too upset to be able to continue with the purpose of this meeting, " said Dumbledore. " I suggest we postpone it to another time."
" Under the conditions I have outlined, I am satisfied, " Neville replied.
" Thank you for your time, " added the old man, " and I apologize to you both."
Neville left followed by a surprised Aurora Sinistra.
{SCENE BREAK}
In the room, the two began a discussion about how to proceed with these young people since they could not take them separately.
" Leave them to me! " said Snape. " One meeting and we'll know everything they're up to."
" And if Amelia and Augusta find out that you entered their minds, they will cry out for your blood! " replied the old man.
" They won't find out! " the potioneer protested. " A couple of memory wipes and that's it!"
" The whole school?!" asked the old man." You've seen how they act! They'll know quickly if you've modified their minds! You saw how Longbottom made sure everyone knew that I had called him to my office!" he sat down." What you suggest is madness." Snape shrank in his chair, furious.
" So what?"
" Nothing." the old man replied." We'll just wait and continue as we have until now. It's a shame." he added." With the boy with this new character, it would be ideal to take the role of the chosen one."
" he's almost a Squib! " Snape protested.
" He used his father's wand until this summer." the old man answered." He has risen in all his grades and his skill with spells proves to be among the best in his year. The help of his friends has influenced him." Snape looked at him in disbelief." Ask the rest of the teachers." He leaned back in his seat." Let's leave that for now. Tomorrow Beauxbatton and Durmstrang arrive. We have to get ready."
The two were left thinking about ways to act and future plans.
{SCENE BREAK}
As they left the gargoyle behind, the astrology teacher approached the young man.
" Is what you said true? " She asked.
" About what?" he asked.
" Are they both… Legilemancers?"
" Yes, and very clever! Did you notice that the headmaster grabbed his forehead shortly after entering? " The teacher nodded. " That's the effect of looking at these muggle glasses. It's like attacking your own mind. " the young man finished. The woman looked at him in amazement and with great interest. " I hope to count on you the next time the headmaster calls me."
" It is my obligation as your head of the house." she replied." Although..., I would appreciate it if you told me where to get one of those glasses." the boy smiled.
" I'll send you some and a very interesting book." the boy replied smiling." Believe me, you'll like it."
When Aurora Sinistra received both objects, she was amazed by every page of the book. In less than a week she had read it completely and practiced some exercises. In addition, she never left her room without having the strange muggle sunglasses on her. She recommended the book and the object to some of her colleagues. The next teachers' meeting would leave the headmaster very upset.
