Staring deep into Julian's eyes, Myst could see the internal conflict waring within them as she held herself in front of him. While having seen horrible things herself, it pained her knowing that he saw something such as that, and still thought about others before himself.
"You can't hold these things inside your head to terrorize yourself with things you can't control." She would say before gently placing her hand against his cheek. "You can talk to me if you need to get anything off of your chest."
"I... don't want to burden you with my experiences of the human world, Myst." Julian would say, feeling her surprisingly soft skin against his own which almost lit a fire within him.
"It's not about being a burden, Julian. It's about having support. If you don't accept it, you'll do more damage to yourself that could never be repaired." She'd retort as she pressed her forehead against his own.
