SARA'S DEATH

Well, the only option they had was to kill Sara too, since it was the only way that Jann's powers would depart from her body and re-enter Jann's cold corpse.

Would Judith accept to take such a risk.

What if her precious daughter fails to return? she would wonder.

Meanwhile Sara felt dizzy suddenly and passed out right next to Jann.

She was still weak so crying so much wasn't good for her at the moment.

The fear of losing her daughter made Judith's heart pound so hard.

"Sara... Open your eyes dear.

We're all here for you. We'll help you and bring your husband back.

Please don't punish us like this.

Give us a chance to rectify our mistake."Judith cried so much.

"Crying won't help ma'am.

I know it's very difficult for you but you have to kill Sara before she dies on her own.

Even if you don't kill her, she'd eventually die because the powers she's carrying are so heavy for her.

You still have a chance to lighten her load and that's by killing her."Trion said.

All he wanted was uniting the two lovers (Sara and Jann). When he was away, he recalled how Sara and her sister Aurora helped him when he needed it the most.

Had it not been their efforts, he wouldn't have married Araxie in the first place. She'd be married to Mr Jung as per Marina's plan.

The two sisters did him a favour so... this was his chance to return it.

Picking up the sword which was glowing and eating nothing, Trion took fate in his hands. He'd do it himself!

Although he wasn't sure if it would work, he fully knew what he had to do.

He wanted to bring Jann to life and that too, through sacrificing Sara's life.

It was strange that when he heaved his sword up to attack Sara, another sword came from nowhere causing the two swords to slam together; one comimg up and the other down. The racket was loud. Trion jumped in shock.

The attacker was invisible.

Although Sara possessed great powers at the moment, there was no way she would attack back and block the weapon from striking her. She was laying unconscious moreover.

She was too weak for that.

And moreso, Trion wasn't doing anything bad, in fact Sara would've loved it, after all it was all about bringing her beloved back.

Thinking all that brought Trion to a certain realization that it was Alia's ghost doing all that.

He had gathered all the information about Jann's past so he knew everything.

Meanwhile his weapon dropped to the ground which felt like it would go on like that forever and he'd not get to stab Sara like he wanted to.

"I must kill her."he breathed inwardly before he heard some whispers in his ears.

"You can't win. I won't let you save this man no matter what." He believed it was Alia's ghost and indeed it was.

She hated Jann... so killing him would mark her revenge accomplished.

The truth was that she didn't want to see him happy especially not with another woman after failing to keep her alive.

"I don't want to hurt you so please don't get involved in the things you have no clue about."

"I don't care whether you hurt me or not, I'll surely win this battle no matter who started it and her intentions."

Everyone who didn't know what was going on found it awkward seeing Trion talking to himself like a mad man.

"What's wrong with him.

Why's he taking long to stab Sara."Aurora wondered.

"I think he needs something great and powerful to attack her with."Tia replied to Aurora's thoughts.

After waiting for Trion to make a move but in vain, Araxie summoned her bead and quickly shot several arrows at Sara and since Alia's ghost's focus was still on Trion, it didn't realize it had lost the battle and Sara had been shot, the thing that it never wanted to see it happen.

The arrows had caused deep damages on Sara's body and it was next to impossible for her to survive especially after she rolled to the side.

She groaned in pain and immediately her eyes flew widely open and then she shockingly stood up.

Trion couldn't wait a moment before he swung up and slammed his hilt into her side, causing her to go down hence hitting the ground with a sharp rush of air.

Soon Sara realized that the world was going dark.

Her eyes closed for a moment, just a brief glimpse of time. When her eyes flew back open, she knew that this was not going to end well. It's what she wanted though but something was compelling her to do the opposite.

"What are you doing brother in-law?"Sara asked and Trion could see fear in her eyes. A strange unknown reason existed behind that fear.

Perhaps it was Alia's ghost that had possessed her and it was afraid of the fact that it's own hatred and its efforts for revenge were about to go to waste.

Still it wasn't going to let it happen so easily.

With a weird smile Sara walked up to Trion and tried to grab at his leg, trying to pull him down to her level, however that didn't work.

Trion shifted his weight and moved to the side.

Alia wasn't someone who would give up so easily even when she was still alive.

"I can do this."the ghost reminded itself and then looked up at Trion's sword, trying to find some way to turn the fight around.

It didn't take long before Trion stabbed her straight on the chest.

Sara who was possessed by Alia's ghost closed her eyes as the ghost tried to get the sight of its impending demise out of its mind.

It wanted to remember something good but the only thought in the head was the fact that the cold hand of eternal death was reaching out to her and she'd never come back to finish and cause problems in Jann's married life.

She needed to feel something deep, but there was only fear. The fear that she had lost it all for it was over for her.

Soon she felt the first sharp sting of the pain in her chest where she had been stabbed.

Yes, her end had approached and she felt that it was over so she fluttered her eyes. Her strength had faded and she fought against the pain.

She had something that she needed to say, a curse that she needed to utter, and last words to send out for Araxie and Trion but luckily she couldn't utter out anything even after she parted her lips.

Nothing came out and yet she didn't have any time to figure it out.

"It's over!" She let the word drain off into nothingness. It was all she could say. It was all that could be said at the moment.

Dropping to her knees, then down onto her hands, she dragged herself and crawled up to Jann's dead body where she rested her head on his chest before her senses faded.

Oops! Sara's breathe was gone and now she laid still and cold.

She was no more!
