Unexpected developments!
Not only was Thanos caught off guard by Clark's attack, but Corvus Glaive was terrified to the core.
Seeing the attack coming, Corvus Glaive instinctively swung his blade to counter Clark's lethal strike, but this reaction was exactly what Clark anticipated.
"Clang!"
The collision of stick and blade resulted in a deafening sound, and Corvus Glaive's blade shattered upon impact!
Corvus Glaive, who had invested his soul into his weapon, froze in place at that moment.
Just as previously speculated online, Corvus Glaive's Achilles' heel was indeed his blade. Clark, however, took no chances. He swung his cloth stick again, the energy of the Power Stone exploding upon impact, utterly obliterating Corvus Glaive!
Corvus Glaive was sent to join his spouse, Proxima Midnight, in death.

Corvus Glaive, fallen!
After this exhilarating victory, Clark staggered slightly, forcing himself to stabilize. Having sparred with Monica for three days and nights, his energy reserves were already significantly depleted. The continuous exertion of power, even for someone as strong as Clark, was draining.
After killing Corvus Glaive, Clark's energy was nearly exhausted!
Glancing at Black Dwarf, who had just risen from the ruins, Clark reluctantly abandoned the tempting idea of finishing him off too. He gestured towards Thanos: "This battle ends here. Take your sole remaining subordinate and leave."
Hearing Clark's bold declaration, Thanos nearly burst into laughter.
"Boy!" Thanos said coldly, "You've slaughtered so many of my subordinates, destroyed my flagship, killed Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive. Do you really think I, the Mad Titan, will just walk away?"
"If you don't leave, I'll simply have to kill Black Dwarf too, then I'll leave," Clark responded with an unchanged smile. "You should know that with the Space Stone, I can leave whenever I want. You can't stop me."
Thanos sneered, "Do you really still have the strength to kill Black Dwarf? Boy, don't think I'll stand by and let you fight him one-on-one."
Clark's lips curled mischievously: "Of course, you won't stand idly by while your subordinate is being killed, but what if you are busy... dancing?"

Thanos' fierce gaze lingered on Clark for a long time. Ultimately, he snorted coldly, taking his only remaining subordinate, Black Dwarf, towards a small spacecraft.
Astute as ever, Thanos realized that Clark was at the brink of his strength. Continuing the fight would likely exhaust him completely.
Moreover, Thanos didn't believe Clark could repeatedly use his strange ability to control others through dance without strain.
However, without any leverage to prevent Clark from escaping, Thanos saw no benefit in continuing the fight. He considered two possible outcomes: Clark controlling him again with music and killing Black Dwarf before escaping, or Clark failing to use his control ability and simply fleeing. Either way, it held no advantage for Thanos.
After some hesitation, Thanos decided not to gamble Black Dwarf's life for a 50% chance of saving face.
Thanos had carved his way through the universe with strength, not pride. To risk losing one of his last two formidable subordinates for mere pride was too costly.
As Thanos' spacecraft disappeared into the vast cosmos, Clark sighed softly, "Pity, Thanos' reason overcame his impulse. Missing this chance to eliminate him means it won't be easy to find another."
The Collector, who had hidden since the battle began, emerged, puzzled: "Mr. Clark, from what you said, if Thanos had chosen to continue fighting, you really had a chance to completely kill him?"
Clark nodded, "That was indeed my initial thought."
The Collector asked, "If you were so confident, why call a halt?"
Clark sighed, "It was an essential part of my plan. I could never kill Thanos alone; I needed external help. To convince Thanos that I had fully exhausted my ability to resist, making him believe that with a little more effort, he could kill me and seize the Infinity Stones I possess. To make him believe that, sufficient groundwork was necessary." Clark's plan was to feign weakness, and his confrontation with Thanos was a disguised show of vulnerability. Had Thanos continued, Clark would have controlled him again with "Pure Land of Bliss," then killed Black Dwarf.
Even if he couldn't kill Black Dwarf, it didn't matter. After unleashing his carefully prepared attack, he would've immediately escaped through a portal to Xandar, appearing completely drained. If Thanos dared to follow, he would've fallen into a trap set by the Nova Corps and Clark.
Clark's detailed plans weren't fully disclosed to the Collector, who wouldn't fathom them given his cautious nature.
Hearing Clark's plan, the Collector was visibly shaken. "Mr. Clark, as I said earlier, if you could help me take revenge and severely punish Thanos and his Dark Order, I would pay generously. Now, it's time to fulfill my promise."
Clark modestly suggested a deduction in payment since he hadn't fully succeeded. But the Collector wouldn't hear of it: "How can you say that, Mr. Clark? Just driving away the Dark Order with only two survivors exceeded my expectations!"
The Collector then proposed doubling the initially agreed-upon reward.
Despite his humble demeanor, Clark readily accepted this gesture, seeing it as respect for his status and power.
Their combined wealth and strength formed a perfect partnership, promising mutual benefits for the foreseeable future.
The news of Clark's victory against Thanos and his forces spread throughout the universe, astonishing everyone. After this battle, Clark's name became known across various cosmic powers, recognized as a peerless powerhouse not to be underestimated by anyone.
Following Odin's era, another supremely powerful being was born - the Prince!
