" who are your friends ? " asked Michelle as she turned towards the mother and son after she gently removed Mieko's hand

" oh, where are my manners, this is Carla and her son Eren, these are the wife and child of the doctor Yeager I once told you about " replied Mieko as she introduced the duo

" nice to meet you " said Michelle with slight smile as she held out her hand for a hand shake only for it to pause midair before she was about to take it back when she remembers how dirty they were only for Carla to grab her hand calmly with a smile causing her to become surprised before she turned her attention to who she now knew to be the protagonist

Killing intent flashed through her eyes for a second as memories of her first brush with a protagonist filled her mind, as she considered killing him before he became a threat, before she could consider her next actions, she heard Mikasa calling her, staring at the boy who raised his head and met her gaze in confusion for a while longer she turned her attention towards Mikasa

" why are you covered in dirt " asked Mikasa as she hid behind Michelle's leg while peeping out at at Carla and Eren

Regaining her smile, she grabbed Mikasa's arm and turned and walked behind the house , before they disappeared under the bewildered gaze of the other three

* sigh * Mieko sighed slightly before she turned her attention towards Carla and Eren with apologetic eyes before she spoke

" don't mind her attitude, she usually does what she wants, so don't take offense, since she didn't send you away it should mean she doesn't mind your presence, come on let's catch up " explained Mieko before she quickly followed behind the duo, leaving the other 2 even more confused

" come on mom " said Eren as he pulled his mother's arm and followed behind the others before she could react

" ta-da " said Michelle as she showed Mikasa what she was working on, she suppressed a chuckle when she saw the complete shock on the girls face, finally breaking down in laughter when she heard the gasp of surprise from the other 3 , which they might not have even heard in their daze

The group looked on in awe at the seemingly endless rows upon rows of potatoes and other vegetables, some in bloom while others mere seedlings but the visual impact was obvious especially for those who had never seen such a scene

She could be so sure because she spent every day here with Mikasa while her husband was at work. She was sure if Michelle wasn't a woman her husband would suspect her of an affair

When Michelle was about to reply her brows suddenly frowned as she turned her attention back to the direction of her house , before her face suddenly became expressionless, causing Mikasa and Mieko to become worried as they only saw this look on her face whenever she hunted titans or met makes who hit on her

Seemingly sensing the change in atmosphere, Carla and Eren looked at the group in confusion before they followed their gazed

Michelle suddenly started walking back towards the house, the group uniformly following behind her as if it was planned beforehand

Less than a minute later as the fields where only 100 m away from the house, the group walked around to the front before they froze, as Mikasa's and Mieko's grip on Michelle's clothes became tighter in nervousness
