The dream was short.
Calix recalled himself buying yarn balls in the colors of reddish-orange, white and black. He also remembered the old lady telling him to craft something from the yarn.
"Young man, think of your loved ones when you do it."
The dream ended with him leaving the small craft store near the temple, intending to go back to the apartment. Anticipation bloomed in his heart as he was eager to show the yarn balls to the woman.
"...lix? Calix?"
The familiar voice slipped into Calix's mind, bringing him out of his trance. Blinking, his eyes regained their clarity. Two faces entered his line of sight.
"Oh, did you say something?"
Calix looked at Leslie before his gaze went to Calliope. The mother and daughter were staring back at him. None of them focused on their breakfast.
"Are you still tired? When did you... go to bed last night?"
