Greyson was taken aback by Marissa's unexpected appearance at his office. Despite his secretary's objections, Marissa insisted on entering, determined to have a conversation with him. It had been two weeks since their encounter at the hospital, and Greyson knew that no amount of words could undo what had transpired.
"I'm sorry to barge in like this, but we really need to talk," Marissa stated as she stood at the doorway.
Greyson rose from his seat, acknowledging her presence. He gestured towards the sofa, inviting her to take a seat. "Please, have a seat," he said, his tone calm and composed, as he walked towards the seating area.
Marissa didn't waste much time, the moment she took a seat she immediately asked, "There is one thing that I had been curious about," she said, pausing for a moment, "the day you mistaken me with your girlfriend, that's not a part of the plan?"
