"Move your face, please…it annoys me," Marissa said, pushing Blake's cheek to the side. Her breaths sounded loud, and it made Blake catch her nervousness right away.
"Here? Is this distance okay with you?" Blake leaned his head slightly back, but he didn't move his body from her. Their legs were still touching each other.
Marissa felt her face flush with embarrassment as she realised how close they still were. "Um, yeah, that's better," she stammered, trying to maintain her composure.
"Good," Blake replied, a hint of excitement in his eyes. He shifted a little to give them more space, but he didn't pull away completely. He couldn't help but enjoy the proximity and the familiar feeling of being close to her.
