Chapter 5

???'s P.O.V

You woke up on the same bench even if you didn't remember falling asleep there was no doubt you had. You remembered that you were meeting Dream today and in case of something bad that could occur you put on your back up armour and got your backup weapons. They where still netherite but didn't have as many enchantments and wasn't named. After putting all your main amour and weapons away you got some food and set off in the direction of Manberg.

Once you arrived

You arrived a little early so you decided to wait around and just chill.

But fate just hates you..

Shlatt walked in and saw you, he smirked walking up to you.

"What are you doing here?" He said.

"Dream wanted to talk to me." You replied quick and simple hoping that he wouldn't bother you too much till Dream arrived, you weren't sure if Shlatt was angry about you killing Quackity or not. You were sure that Quackity was mad though.

"I was impressed you had enough backbone to kill Quackity" This surprised you, wasn't he meant to be mad that you killed his friend? Where they friends? You weren't sure but it was odd that he was 'impressed'. You decided that if you ignored him he'd go away or Dream would get here, preferably that latter. You didn't want to wait to much longer as it was already noon, the time you guys had agreed on meeting.

"Ignoring me won't solve anything," he said after a minute of silence.

"Please go away, I'm waiting for Dream" You where starting to get annoyed but kept your composure. Dream would be here soon right? You messaged him.

You whispered to Dream: Where are u?

Shlatt kept talking not particularly paying attention to that fact it was a one way conversation.

Dream whispered to you: I'm on my way

You were glad, you didn't know how much longer you could listen to Shlatt talk but that didn't stop him. And as if Lady Luck smiled apon you Dream walked into the community house and saw you and Shlatt. He understood why you where angry that he wasn't here, he walked over.

"Hello Y/n, hello Shlatt" he said as he grabbed your arm "You don't mind if I borrow Y/n, do you?"

"No no, go ahead Dream" Shlatt walked off as Dream let go of your arm.

"So what is this deal you where talking about?" You said as soon as Shlatt left.

"I want you to join me" he said however just saying that wasn't enough information and definitely wasn't convincing.

"Why, what's in it for me?" You didn't know why you where even hearing him out, you had already made it clear to everyone that you didn't want to be involved in conflict. But... Maybe just maybe he could offer something you couldn't refuse..

"I bet I can guess what your thinking, I know you don't want to involve in conflict but just hear me out"

he started

"Once you've helped me with what I have planned you'll finally get to spend more time with Wilbur, I mean you can't right now can you. He's been exiled. I know how much he means to you"

This made you think. He was right.. You can't spend much time with Wilbur as of right now. And of course you care about him. What does he want you to do?

"What do you want me to do?"

You hadn't said yes and he knew that you wanted to know what you'd have to do before you agreed to anything.

"I want you to be a spy for me, I want you to keep tabs on everyone. And maybe do a few favours for me every now and again,"

You weren't sure, what did he mean by favours? And did you need to keep tabs on Wilbur too? You didn't want to have to do that but most importantly. Was it worth saying no? You would get to spend more time with Wilbur and all you had to do was agree to Dream's deal and help him out.

"So if I agree then once this is over I'll get to freely spend time with Wilbur?"

"Yes, see it benefits us both. All you have to do is say yes"

You weren't looking and even if you where you wouldn't have been able to see but Dream had an big smile on his face and his eyes had dulled since 'convincing' you to say yes.

"Okay, if this is what it takes"

You were still hesitant and he must have seen that because he told you to go home and he'd explain in more detail about what you would be doing later on. You started your journey home as you messaged Wilbur.

You whispered to Wilbur: We've talked

You didn't expect the immediate reply you got.

Wilbur whispered to you: what did he say

You didn't know how to explain it properly, but decided that it would be better to do it in vc where it's easier to talk.

You whispered to Wilbur: Can I tell u in vc it's easier

You joined an empty vc and continued home. A few minutes later he joined.

"Hey Y/n, sorry it took a couple of minutes I had to wait till Tommy started talking to Tubbo."

You where happy to hear his voice, you didn't think that you would be able to for awhile after you saw how angry Tommy was.

"No it's okay Wilbur, anyways I guess I'll explain everything"

And that's what you did you explained almost everything, leaving out what you gained from this as you thought it was quite embarrassing. Plus he only thought of you as a friend write? There was no way he like you like that. Why would he?
