Why A Dimensional Chat Group?

In contemporary Japan, Yuu Tachibana lives a seemingly ordinary life with his beloved family. However, Yuu harbors a secret: he has lived a past life in another world, making his current life his second. Having no one to call family in his previous life, Yuu cherishes his family all the more. One fateful night, Yuu discovers an unidentified phone in his room. The message displayed on its screen is cryptic and foreboding: [Do you want to save your family from their terrible fate?] With a sense of dread, Yuu is faced with a choice: [Yes] or [No]. Yuu must decide if he is willing to risk everything to protect his loved ones. Will he choose to save them, or let fate run its course? -------- So, before you jump into the fic, let me address the frustration of some readers, This fic is slow. The Dimensional Chat Group, is not given to the MC in the first or fifth chapter. No, no! Not even in 8 chapter, It decides to make a fashionable entrance in chapter 11. And we don't even get to fully explore it until chapter 15. Isn't that just great? The delay in the chat group's appearance seems to be a point of confusion for many readers. While the chat group is indeed a central aspect of the story, it's important to understand why the MC would use this unknown and potentially dangerous power. If the MC is reckless or unintelligent, the chat group's usage might begin in the first chapter. However, if the MC is depicted as a self-proclaimed genius or cautious individual, the story will reach the point of the chat group's involvement by chapter 3 at the latest, followed by a mission. In the initial 8 to 9 chapters, we get a glimpse into the MC's ordinary existence. He leads a regular life, surrounded by his loving family. He attends school, where he has a small circle of friends. Financially speaking, his family doesn't face any difficulties or hardships. And he is content with this simple, everyday life. Now, you might be wondering, why on earth would a person like our MC take a risk with the Chat Group? Hear me out. He's not some thrill-seeker, or a martial arts enthusiast looking for stronger opponents, nor is he a genius bored out of his mind. He's content with his life, and he doesn't crave anything more. So, why would he put his neck on the line? That's precisely why it takes so long for the Chat Group to enter the picture. The initial chapters focus on showcasing his everyday life with family and friends. It's all about giving you a glimpse into why he wouldn't initially desire the chat group. But, of course, he eventually takes the plunge because he discovers a reason that speaks to him. Now, I know some of you may say, "Hey, couldn't you have summed it up in a single chapter?" Well, sure, I could have, but I didn't want to. Summarizing the MC's relationships and motivations would have resulted in a shallow excuse that you—yes, you—would probably complain about later. Plus, there's more to this story than just his daily life. But enough about that. Let's get one thing straight: this fic is slow. If you're expecting a quick summary with occasional fights and snappy dialogue, do yourself and me a favor by clicking off this fic. You'll find what you're looking for in less than 10 seconds, guaranteed. So, if you're still here after this warning, I don't want to hear any complaints about the story's pace. You've been duly informed. And hey, as you read, try paying a little more attention to uncover the hidden meanings within the dialogues and monologues. Also, I am not saying that I have done a fantastic job on the writing, No that’s not the point of this. The point is that you the reader don’t waste your time reading something you don’t like. And I don’t get 1-star reviews for a reason as petty as ‘The Chat group took too long to appear’ That's all for now. Flamboyant!

"Tachibana-sama has been poisoned for nearly an hour, Shinobu be quick there is no time to lose," Kanae's said as Shinobu nodded and took out a syringe.

"For an hour?" Shinobu was shocked.

'Did his plan fail? Did he get a cut on another place aside from the sample?' Shinobu got a letter assigned to her when she reached this place. It was written by Yuu and it contained his plan alongside what he wanted Shinobu to do, so if he was poisoned for more than an hour, that his plan surely failed.

'But it is good that it wasn't a complete failure since he got the demon's blood and a sample to get an antidote made in advance.' Yuu said in the letter that he would try to get the demon to slash at a piece of a human part that he hid on his body in order to give Shinobu an idea about how the poison worked and spread.

And Shinobu was the one who collected the blood and the sample that was poisoned by Gyutaro, currently, she was pissed.

'Why didn't he say that then?! I would've brought the antidote quickly, Argh! It's pissing me off more that I am pissed off at the possibility of him dying!!!' With each passing second a vein would pop up Shinobu's face.

"Don't waste your time he'll die soon," Kanae turned her head and saw Gyutaro's head not too far away.

"Shut up!!!" Shinobu shouted and the rage in her voice was clear to feel for Kanae.

But Gyutaro was grinning like he had achieved his task.

"Even if you guys defeated us, in the end, he is dying as well, do you think it was worth it?"

"This piece of shit!!" Shinobu was getting angrier the more Gyutaro spoke but.

"Shinobu please focus on treating Tachibana-sama, you shouldn't behave like this," But upon hearing Kanae Shinobu had no choice but to grit her teeth and look after Yuu.

"He could've survived if he had lived an easy life if he didn't stick his neck out for others," Gyutaro was clicking his tongue.

"Is that what you truly believe?" Kanae questioned, and Gyutaro's expression soured.

"Just shut up! I don't want to hear a single word from someone as fortunate as you," Gyutaro snapped.

"I suppose you could say I'm fortunate. It was through sheer luck that I encountered good people and managed to survive this long," Kanae replied thinking of Gyomei and Yuu, causing Gyutaro to furrow his brow with her next words, "But do you truly believe your life has been filled with misfortune?"

"What else do you think my life has been? Do you even have a clue?" Gyutaro retorted as a scream echoed in the distance.

"ONI-CHHHHAAAAAN!!" Gyutaro flinched upon hearing that, urgency evident on his face.

"Do you consider your sister a misfortune in your life too?" Kanae asked, and Gyutaro gritted his teeth.

"Hey!! What are you doing?" Gyutaro shouted as Kanae lifted his head and began moving towards Daki.

"We all experience fortune and misfortune in our own ways. Some of us can still live while others lose their lives. Some of us can walk on our own two feet while others cannot. Some of us have loving parents while others have suffered loss," Kanae spoke slowly as they walked. "Ultimately, it is up to us to decide if we are truly fortunate or not with what we have."

"Oni-chan! Oni-chan, I don't want to die!! Save me, Oni-chan!!" Daki cried out, her head turning to dust.

"Ume!" Gyutaro shouted, but it was too late. Daki's head had already vanished.

"I'm sorry," Kanae apologized, she really hoped to have been faster so that the siblings could see each other at least.

"Shut up! What do you know? What do you know?" Gyutaro seethed with boiling rage.

"You have no idea how bad my life wa-HAP*" Gyutaro tried to shout, but Kanae swiftly covered his mouth.

"You shouldn't belittle your life," Kanae continued, while Gyutaro struggled to speak. "By doing so, you not only demean your own life but also the lives of the people who were a part of it."

Gyutaro fell silent upon hearing those words. The one who had been by his side throughout his life, the one who had shared the most memories with him... No, it was only his sister, Ume.

"I pray that once you've atoned for your sins, you and your sister can lead a life blessed with good fortune," Kanae expressed her genuine sentiment. She didn't need to go this far, but now Gyutaro began to understand what she meant.

"A life blessed with good fortune, huh?" Gyutaro pondered, thinking about all the things he had wanted for Daki. He had imagined it countless times.

His sister growing up in a nurturing environment, pursuing her passions, and savoring her favorite foods. Growing up without any hardships, finding love, starting her own family, living a joyful life, and peacefully passing away surrounded by loved ones who would be grateful for having her in their lives.

He wondered that maybe his sister turned out to be this way because he was the one who rasied her.

'How would Daki be if she was ...raised by someone like her?' Gyutaro looked at Kanae who still had a sincere look on her face.

"...Yeah …..….that wouldn't be half bad," Gyutaro murmured, as his head crumbled into dust in Kanae's hands.

"What are you doing Kocho?" Kanae looked back and saw Tengen standing there.

"Uzui-san, what about the kids?" Kanae asked about the little girls and Tengen sighed.

"My wives are taking care of them, also that guy is with the medics now, and your sister has a flamboyant personality if I do say so myself," Tengen's wives were also part of the squad that was supposed to evacuate Yoshiwara disguised as officials.

Since they were former kunoichis they were well-suited for the task.

Kanae was relieved to hear that her Shinobu was calmed down now, she always makes rash decisions in a fit of anger.

She wanted to rush to Yuu's side and see his condition but…

"Uzui-san, why did you not help us?" Kanae asked since if that had happened Yuu wouldn't have been in a critical condition.

"Didn't that guy send a letter to Oyakata-sama through you?" Tengen asked and Kanae nodded, this made him ask another question, "Did you not read it?"

"Why would I do that?" Kanae's question made Tengen's face twitch.

'She is making me feel like scum,' Tengen quickly shook off that thought.

"It was written in the letter, that unless you Kocho Kanae is in a life-threatening situation, we shouldn't intervene in the fight," Tengen received a few orders while he came to Yoshiwara.

First, make sure Kanae is safe if Yuu turns out to be a traitor and this is a trap.

Second, help Kanae if her life is threatened just like Yuu asked.

"What about Tachibana-sama?" Kanae asked looking at the ground.

"There was no mention of him in the letter," Tengen said while looking at Kanae.

"…I see," That was all she said before asking a question, "Uzui-san, do you still think Tachibana-sama is a dangerous person?"

"Hmm? No, my thoughts have changed a little, also Kocho you should get some treatment done as well," Tengen said plainly.

"Ah, yes," Kanae said and walked back towards where Yuu was under Tengen's gaze.

'It isn't something I can say in front of Kocho but now, I think that guy is an extremely dangerous person,' Tengen thought while recalling the fight he had seen from a distance as well as the level of preparation Yuu had done before the fight.

'Even his current state is saying, 'If you want to get rid of me now is your chance' This is truly difficult, getting rid of him is more of a loss to us than keeping him alive,' Tengen felt like he was facing a wall here, the same wall he had faced in the past.

'He had those demons dancing in his palms the whole time, right down the end where he got the stronger one to lower his guard not once but multiple times,' Tengen's mind recalled things as he continued to think, 'And it isn't just the demons that he played with his tricks…..'

"Now that's Flamboyant," Tengen grinned as things were only going to go up from here, at least that is what his intuition said.

'Maybe it is a good time to retire?' He thought jokingly before turning around as he still had some tasks to do.

"Disarming traps is so not flamboyant, Maybe I should set them off and set a flamboyant display? Hmm?" Tengen still had to clear out the traps set by Yuu.

'Maybe I'll be able to understand the reason behind that Flamboyant explosions if I do,' That night countless explosions were set off throughout the empty Yoshiwara.

.....

Now leave all you stones here as I am robbing you, Flamboyantly!!!!
