Chapter 45: New Template

I wipe the sweat from my forehead. With how my guardians and clan members are busy preparing for the people from the Church, I decided to train myself and try to get the template done today. It is already at 99.99% of completion.

I release my aura once again and continue my training. The first thing I do is increase the gravity around me, and I can feel the strain on my body get harsher and harsher by the second. I continue to endure the strain and do push-ups.

After a hundred push-ups, my body finally gives in, and I release the gravity. I'm panting, but a smile of satisfaction creeps onto my face as the familiar panel materializes in front of me.

There are a lot of choices for me, and all of them are great. The first one is an easy option to explain. It boosts my aura and makes my gravity ability stronger. It also increases the speed of my aura growth.

The [Aura of a King] will boost my charisma even more, and any clansmen under me cannot even think of betraying me or hurting me. It is more of mind manipulation at this point because of how it affects human behavior directly than just encouraging loyalty to grow.

[Immortality] is a unique thing. It will grant me and my lieutenant an ageless body. It is an immortality in the form of us not dying from old age but can still die from lethal attack. This perk also gives us immunity to disease and the majority of poison.

[Schattenreich and Himmelreich] is a pair of airships. One is a blimp, and the other is a zeppelin. The Schattenreich is a blimp that acts as a spaceship as well because of its ability to travel outside of Earth. It cannot land on the moon, or it will lose its ability as a spaceship, but it can go as far as a third of the way to the moon. Himmelreich is a zeppelin that increases the power of my aura tenfold as long as I am inside the airship.

[Dresden Slate] is a stone that grants people the power of Aura. If I choose this, I can choose two people to be granted as a King and get their own unique aura. However, the remaining kings will be chosen at random. I don't want that. Having another king under my clan might be great, but it is a double-edged sword because it can grant my enemies the power of a king.

After thinking about it for a few seconds, the first and third options are the only options that are good for me. The second one is not something I want. The fourth one is too underwhelming. It is a great tool to boost my power, but not good enough for me. The fifth one is Pandora's box. If it gives the power of the kings to my allies, great! If it is to give power to my enemies… Bad.

I decide to pick the [Immortality] perk in the end. While boosting my silver aura is great, immortality and its side effects are something you cannot beat. To always be healthy and immune to the majority of poison is so great that I cannot help but choose this.

After choosing the [Immortality] perk, I feel nothing new. I guess I will not notice it immediately; I will only notice it when I grow older.

I can feel a surge of power appear from my soul and create a barrier around me. Silver light appears around me, and my body feels safer. Not only that, I also get a lot of knowledge inside of me.

However, what caught my attention was the sleeping power inside of me. It feels cold, extremely so, and it feels wild. It is like nature itself, and I don't know what it was. I don't watch RWBY until the latest episode. I only watch up to the fall of Beacon Academy.

However, I have a feeling that this power is what Ozpin searches for or rather protects from the big bad Grimm Queen.

I shake my head and focus on the other part of the power for now. Glyphs is a great semblance because it is rather versatile. Glyphs are the physical manifestation of a magic circle because you can stand on it without activating it. Not only that, depending on your aura, you can create a very devastating attack that is equal to a high-rank spell. What makes it even more great is that you do not need to use any math unlike the magic circle magicians.

Hell! It can even affect time! Of course, it needs dust to function, but it can affect time! Getting this template allows me to access the RWBY world and gather as much dust as possible to enchant my semblance.

I get up from the ground and take a deep breath. Five Glyphs appeared around me a second later, and massive ice blocks came from the circle. I can use other elements as well, like fire. However, I need dust to use the other elements.

It looks like I can use fire because of my Dying Will Flame and Ice because of the sleeping power from this new template.

However, there is another thing I can do without the help of dust. I can summon creatures that I defeat with my own hands. It is a shame that this power appears now instead of when I hunted some wild beasts a few months ago.

Or I can hunt some Grimm in the RWBY world. I can also help them prevent Beacon Academy's fall. We do some good and get good training in return.

I wonder if I can kill that Dragon Grimm to summon it. I will think of it later. I need to talk to the others and unlock their aura for now. I can visit the RWBY world after the visit from the Golden Dawn and the Church. I think training there for three days before an assault against the Tepes Clan.
