Jada’s discovery

The movie starring the popular actress Emma Watson was playing, and the girl's full attention was on the movie apart from Nancy who had no idea what was going on, her mind was occupied with Nolan's thoughts.

Her heart stopped when he walked toward her for her number, she had thought of other reasons when his flirtatious eyes smiled at her.

He typed in his number on her phone and called himself with it, and as soon as he returned her phone, she nervously walked away without looking back, so her expression would not expose her.

Nancy sat there, resting her back on the fancy couch and staring blankly at the TV.

Suddenly her eyes caught Nolan joining them, now wearing a white shirt and a changed shorts, his cologne immediately changing the smell of the room. He sat down on a cushion away from Nancy and her friends.

He felt Nancy's gaze on him and the instant he looked over, she turned her head back to the movie.

Nolan smiled and folded his arms as he watched the movie.

Her expression were dreamy and filled with longing, a hint of a smile appeared on her lips.

The presence of Nolan in the same room as her, even sitting just across her made her heart melt, and suddenly the movie got more exciting.

Nolan knew he hadn't joined them to watch the movie, he never sat with Tara to watch a series together ever, he was there for only one reason and he kept stealing glances at that reason.

Nancy's heart raced in excitement, she didn't want to turn her head because then he would catch her staring, she felt a tingling sensation in her chest and her body was hyper-aware.

Jada and Tara were too into the movie and did not realize Nolan had joined them, Jada turned her head and saw the boy sitting across them, and strangely his eyes were fixed on Nancy who was watching the movie.

Jada noticed this, she looked away and didn't want to be wrong but after another turn to confirm, Nolan was staring at Nancy.

She looked away and kept watching the movie.

Nolan's eyes would not stop going back to Nancy's, he could not stop himself from staring at her.

He pulled out his phone and went to his search button.

"What happens when you can't stop yourself from thinking about someone? Why am I going crazy about this one particular girl".

He typed it in, not knowing why he was doing what he was doing but he was going crazy and needed an answer right away and there was no one to talk to.

Nolan stared at the Google response and it was just exactly what he had thought it to be and even more as the search had described everything he was feeling towards Nancy.

"Love at first sight", he read in his mind.

His heart raced, the memory of the first day he saw her returned, how lost and confused she looked while her half-wet hair dropped on her shirt, her nervous eyes staring back at him.

All the times he had seen Nancy for the past weeks returned to his mind and he remembered it all clearly, his eyes were instantly filled with warmth and tenderness.

He looked up at Nancy.

She was now laughing at a funny scene with her friends, her beguiling, white teeth lit up the room.

Nolan's eyes lit up in affection, his stare filled with admiration, adoration, and a sense of longing.

At that moment, all he wanted was to feel and hold her.

Nancy's intuition knew there was an intense gaze on her, still smiling at the movie, she turned her head and she was right.

Nolan's intense gaze was on her, their eyes met and her smiling eyes gradually faded, the look in his eyes was different, she could see the depth of his emotions reflected in his gaze, as if he was looking into her soul.

Nancy felt seen and desired just from the intense connection between them at that moment.

Her heart beat rapidly as the staring continued.

Nolan suddenly stood up and walked away from the living room.

Jada looked up and saw the boy leave, she looked over at Nancy and saw her confused expression and it was at that moment Jada knew something was going on between them.

Nancy did not see Nolan till it was too late for them to return back home.

Jada's mom had called the girls. Tara had suggested driving her friends back home but they insisted on getting a bus or a taxi.

Jada was so eager to ask Nancy what was happening but she decided to keep it until they got home.

Nancy and Jada entered and saw Mrs. Williams in the kitchen making dinner.

"Hey girls… how are you?".

"Fine until you asked us to come home... Tara's house is super luxurious and super fun", Jada complained while taking off her jacket to hang on the coat rack.

"Sorry I ruined you girls' fun, but it was getting super dark, I can't risk that… people are weird out there", the woman answered while glancing at the girls.

"You two go freshen up and come on down for dinner" " she said, and as soon as the girls were about to leave, she called on Nancy.

"Can you hold on darling?".

Nancy stopped and looked at the woman, she knew what Jada's mother was about to tell her but she still kept her smiling face as the woman took off her apron and turned to her.

"Your Aunt Kat is so worried about you, she said you would not answer her phone and she misses you… at least give her a call back so she would not be so worried, she is super stressed right now, you know how she is", Mrs. Williams said.

The smile slowly disappeared from Nancy's face.

Mrs. Williams noticed, and she walked towards Nancy.

"I understand you are mad at them"

"I am not mad at her… I just want to be alone from them, and if you don't want to have me here…",

The woman knew where the girl's words were going, she shook her head and interrupted sharply.

"No! No… don't say that my dear, you are always welcome in my house every day and every time, I and Kat were just as close as you are with my daughter, you are as important to me", Mrs. Williams said smiling.

She slightly touched Nancy's soft cheek and gently put some hair behind the back of her ear.

"You can even decide to bring all your stuff here and live, I don't mind".

Nancy smiled along with the woman.

"I would return her call when I get inside… did she say anything about Uncle Rob?" The girl asked.

Mrs. Williams nodded, "He returned very early this morning", she responded.

"You don't worry about anything, just go wash up and come down… you girls would love tonight's delicacy", the woman said. She watched Nancy smile and turn to leave.

Jada was just coming out of the shower when Nancy got in.

"Let me guess… Mom is begging you to return home? Because Aunt Kat is stressing?", Jada asked as she sat in front of her mirror to dry her hair.

Nancy sprawled on the bed, she exhaled deeply and responded, "Hmm hmmm".

"I don't want you to leave here anymore, Aunt Kat should go find another niece, I already adopted you", Jada said while looking back at Nancy who snorted at her friend's joke.

"What? I am serious", Jada added.

Nancy wished she had seen Nolan for the last time that night, her heart missed him, her heart longed for him and this made her stare at her phone, hoping for a beep from him.

She saw his number on her call log and wished she had the boldness to dial it but she knew she couldn't do it.

Nancy put down her phone out of frustration and removed her clothes one after the other before walking into the bathroom.

Feeling every drop of water on her skin and sinking in her brunette.

His charming eyes she could not describe in words and how hard he stared at her would not leave her mind.

Her heart raced at the thought of his grip on her arms that night, his seductive smell and beautiful teeth and lips. She had wished that night didn't end.

Nancy moistened her lips with her tongue softly, as she imagined him walking in on her right now, how his eyes would have made her beg him to touch her and hold her in his tight grip, owning her.

She ran her finger into her hair switched off the shower, grabbed her towel, and dried up her body before stepping out.

"Hey hey", Nancy said in a low voice, her eyes immediately catching the new pajamas on the bed.

"Wear that for tonight… see, this is the benefit of you staying here forever, I would spoil you and treat you better than Aunt Kat", Jada said, grinning at her friend.

"I am starting to get convinced", Nancy sarcastically responded.

She had finished wearing the pajamas and was about to apply her night facials when Jada suddenly turned to her, Nancy knew that look.

"What do you want now?", Nancy said smiling while staring down at her creams.

"Nolan… is he the guy you have a crush on".

Nancy was stunned, she looked up at her friend who looked like she already knew the answer.

There was no point to lie now.
