Maia woke up early as usual. She changed her clothes and walk out of her room when she saw Eirito also went out of his room.

"Ah...", Eirito bowed a bit, "Good morning Kinoshita-san. You woke up early today..."

"Good morning...", Maia greeted back, "Well it's time for me to exercise. I'm a fighter after all."

"Oh...um...c-can I join you?"

"Uh...sure. Come on, let's get going."

"H-hai!"

Eirito and Maia went outside to warm up a bit before start to jog around the villa. When they're done, they rest a bit. Though it feels so awkward between them. Eirito fidgeted on his seat while Maia just sit a bit far from him, drinking some water.

"Um...Kinoshita-san...?", Eirito called out her name.

"...Yes Eirito-san?", Maia look at him, made him blush a bit.

"...Um...th-thank you...for the other day. I-I mean... accompanying me to take care of Xenon."
