WHEN THE TUTORIAL ENDS

Qwen Valas the anti social introvert, was pretty much ignored for most of his life. Mostly due to his own shut in behavior and personality. That was was usually fine by him until it wasn't and he was forced into a world he had always tried to avoid. He didn't like being around people, just as much as people ignored him. Which was everyday for 9 years. He worked meaningless a job and lived a meaningless life that he could no longer bare. "....God, I wished I used that knife on myself back then. Then I wouldn't have to deal with the headache from this crappy pre-tutorial!" The timer to the end is set and the question remains, will humanity be able to band together for the first time in known human existence to save themselves? Its is only together that humanity has a real chance at surviving until the end!

Mounting Problems 11.3

Qwen was still in the air flying back home when suddely he received a notification from the System and stopped. It was about a nearby dungeon that sprouted up in the area. He pondered for a moment before deciding to check it out and taking a detour.

The system counted down the meters until he arrived in front of a massive hill with an cave type entrance going into the ground. As he moved with 10 meters of thr entrance he received a System notice.

<Black Hook Mines. Dungeon Level 7>

Qwen was level only level 12. He was strong but he almost had his head bashed in by level 3 orc when he was at level 8. Granted he hadn't invested much into his health pool so he wasn't very durable. He didn't know what kind of monster he would even be up against. He could a assume this is where the orcs had come from but he had no way to be fully certain.

During the battle, that orc had moved so fast his brain could hardly keep. His physical stats apparently weren't good enough in a close battle. Hes fastest movement was his ace when it came to close combat he was vulnerable whne he was out of magic.

Min/maxing his body doesn't looks like it works in reality. Mages can't be same in video games. Human have to become more balanced if we don't want to die quickly.

He was by no means going to stay here to wait to see what comes out. He knew he could easily kill a few with his previous power. Four levels higher he could kill even. It was tempting but decided that he would wait until he got all of his physical stats into the mid 30s at least.

His other option to gain strength was he could used weaker monsters to gain battle experience and save humans from the blackouts.

He made up his mind not to enter the dungeon and he flew back towards his home. While flying, his cellphone beeped. It was his bank account depositing another whopping $800,000,000. Qwen eyes got wide. He instantly converted 700 million into GP. He now had 1,900,280 GP.

"Holy crap! What happened? Why do I have do much gold?"

He looked at old system notifications.

<Uncommon, Steel Enchanted Fire blade,+10 STR, +3% additional fire damage per user level. 2,000 GP>

....

<Basic Heal spell, 10,000GP>

....

The shop is expensive but people were buying items constantly. Hundreds of thousands of purchases had been made but Qwen only recieved a small amount from each purchase. At the end of the day the gold was being paid to the system and not him. It was just his personal shop that was being used and he received a percentage of the cut.

He even had a list of who made purchases and thr ability to stop them from being made. Their names and levels even show up on the list. There were a few groups that made continued purchases, but Qwen didn't care it was all paying him in the end.

Hours later he arrived back at home. He walked past a mirror in his living room and a saw a massive hole in his leather armor. As far as he could tell defense was based on the endurance stat and armor that's worn. This leather armor didn't offer much resistance. The orcs attack strength was too high. It also looked like normal physics is in place even when it comes to dungeon monsters. Gravity makes your swing harder no matter what. That is essentially how much force you are able to release. It also affects atrack speed. The spear swung much faster with high strength. Making large weapons swing like twigs in their hands in the process.

The system simply put a number to that force and attack speed. For humans every SP into strength after 10 points is 25 lbs of strength added each stat point. Qwen could currently lift 325 lbs with only one arm before he to begin start straining himself from the weight. Both arms that weight doubled of course.

When the javelin went through his armor easily. That meant the armor was level 2 in durability and could only withstand impacts from from the same level or less before becoming compromised. So a stronger armor wouldn't have been penetrated at all maybe? Or maybe it starts to protect less and less before becoming useless if a monster was stronger than the armor level.

The orc had to have a strength between 30 and 40 making then walking tanks compared to normal humans with 10 or less attribute points.

His agility stat was even more odd. He moved much faster in the air compared to on the ground. On the ground he moved almost 3 times the speed of a normal human and he sense can only capture the same speed on the ground. However in the air he can move ten times that speed and his senses to reaction heightens at the same rate. His only guess is that his Atmokinesisnis a skill plays a part in that. He still feels that he hadn't even scratched the surface of what the ability is capable of. Even then he would be hard pressed to find a skill to match it in power.

All of his spells in the same branch had combined together to make one spell. He wouldn't even call it spells at this point. He simply have command over the weather. It was like the system remove the need to cast a spell or even have cast times at all for most spells. He still needed to learn spell or he could create the spell himself. He would keep this ability his top secret. It could possibly save his life one day.

Turing his mind back to the shop. Qwen smiled when he thought about all of the gold that he had to spend. He noticed that when it came to spells so long as he had a high enough INT and WIS he could use even higher level spells.

He was limited to 'intermediate' level spells until he was able to raise his WIS stat more. For now, he would stick with what spell he had and purchase higher level armor.

When he finally arrived at home. He sat on the couch to catch his breath and preview the battle in his mind mentally. He instantly recognized his mistakes and made corrections for the future. His 'Universal Mind' skill was always hard at work.

Qwen wasn't tired in fact he was full of energy. After battling he never felt more alive. Fighting literally made him stronger. Strength lead to survival. Qwen would grind. He had over 3 thousand notifications from the System informing of new blackouts. Two months earlier ther were only a few hundred. The blackout were the systems way to help the human race grind XP during the pre-tutorial. It seems not many were expected to survive so the number of blacksout were lower. Since Qwen had saved the twin girls, there were countless System users in the world now.

Qwen turned on the News to see what was happening in the world.

A news anchor was talking and Qwens face plastered all over the screen.

Experts, theorists and scientists from all over the world were on this news segment.

"Clearly were are dealing with something extraterrestrial. I have hear countless rumors about a man appearing in purple or blue light and saving a bunch of people." One of the men said. The theorist spoke first.

"From a hacking perspective what he created is impossible. Its not a 'maybe', that its impossible. It actually is. There is no machine on this planet capable of creating this game. Hacking it? I have it was simply impossible. Its like there is nothing to hack! uhuhm(clears throat)

"From my scientific perspective the things he has done simply defy reason."

The old man speaking came prepared. He was one of the top minds in the world if not arguably the brightest mind.

"Firstly, this CG Helm device. When did he even have time to come up with something like this? A device that taps harmlessly directly into neural pathways. He created a type of time dilation where either the mind or the game slows down or adds time. It simply makes no sense. Even these are only theories formulated by over 200 scientists! We need much more time to study the phenomenon."

"We found that the abilities we saw were similar to the spells cast in the game. In particular ice lances are exactly identical. This is possible because we have discovered that these CG Helms can alter our own reality!"

The panel went into an uproar. All of the men and women were talking at once. It took a few seconds to calm everyone down and the old man to his credit just waited patiently.

"Now, I would never insult these great minds on this stage and boast unsubstantiated claims. I of course have proven this."

He lifed his hand a conjured a ball of wind. A few scientists wheeled in dolly with a 4 foot thick concrete block as the old scientists finish speaking. Sweat began to form on his brow as the spell finished after a few second.

"Burst!"

The shot out in the blink of a eye and blasted 2 and a half foot wide round hole straight though the block before disappearing.

The panel were gaping at the old man all of them were at a loss for words.

"There many more discoveries but- "

"Hold that thought Dr. Randall! Breaking news we have a caller into the station. Its him! It's actually Qwen Valas!"
