Chapter 29 - D-Day and 30 - Promise

1 month before...

One Saturday while doing weekend study reviews in Hinata's room, Tsukishima suddenly turned serious. Hinata noticed this and asked, "What's wrong?"

"Sho, can we take a break? I have something to discuss with you."

Chapter 30 - the Promise

"I don't have the words like you prepared.  All I know is that I love you too so much and I cannot bear a life without you anymore. Let's be together until we cannot jump to block anymore."  Hinata's tears were falling non-stop.  They embraced tightly.  Tsukishima wiped Hinata's tears with his thumbs while cupping his face.  He gave him a quick peck on the lips and carried him to the shower.

"Someday, I hope you carry my surname... or I can be a Hinata too. Whatever you want really."

Tsukishima announced upon entering the dining hall where the group met for an early lunch.

"Wooohooo! Congratulations!"  Everyone cheered.

Hinata blushed but with a wide grin and accepted the well wishes.  Apparently Tsukishima planned this promise-proposal as part of his birthday surprise for Hinata.  They all enjoyed their lunch and a large celebratory strawberry cheesecake.

"Yes, I promise."

"I love you Kei and thank you."
