Chapter 863: Uninvited
There were some things that Ian could only deal with because he felt as though he crossed the line with his wife far too many times to be completely forgiven, but there were other things that made him question if her feelings for him were ever real. In one of the most disrespectful things he could think of, the woman organized a small gathering in her home, inviting 'loved ones' to visit his baby, without even mentioning it to him. His chest burned as he considered if he should try walking into the event, but with so much at stake, he could not make up his mind. He kept getting out of his car, approaching the doors to her family's home, then going back to the vehicle, feeling as though he would cause an embarrassing and unnecessary scene if he entered, but when he saw Cylus Rue and his family enter, he made up his mind; only, his feet were not obeying his body.
