Chapter 1: the beginning

<p>This night was the most longest and horrible she has ever experienced. Maya Smith has never had a good life, even so she wanted to live, to make her life better she has always been alone her whole life.<br/><br/><br/>After leaving work early she went for a makeover spend more then she has ever spend in her life. She wanted to to surprise her boyfriend of three years on his birthday. She always felt like she wronged him for always being busy earning money, so she planned a surprise for him.<br/><br/><br/>She came dressed in all nines to spend his b.day with him finally. However she was the one who was surprised, her boyfriend was putting a ring on other woman's finger. His backyard was decorated beautifully however to her this was a nightmare. The cheers and the laughter filled the place but to her the sound seemed like they came from a horror movie.<br/><br/>Maya slowly walked forward each step felt as if she is stepping on needles. As she was walking in the laughter and music stopped people looking at her and whispering among themselves. She stopped near the couple.<br/><br/><br/>The moment Trevor saw her, he felt his heart skip a beat, whether its was because of how she looked or because she was there walking towards him. He knew that their relationship was over even before he explained.<br/><br/>Layla Bullock saw Maya and her face twisted of course she knew who the woman was. She hated her the moment she find out about her existence. She knew that Trevor was always playing around but she was never threatened cause she knew he will marry her.<br/><br/><br/>She always loved him from the moment they met on her 14th birthday. And she found out that their family had a marriage alliance. He was always good to her, that made her fall harder and it was impossible to stop her feelings. But she found out that this was her one sided love, that moment he was 18 and she was 16 she saw him on a date with a very beautiful girl, but she knew in her heart that this girl won't be the last. However when it came to Maya the way he looked at her was different, she felt threatened. And she didn't like it one bit.<br/><br/><br/>After their families found out about this they pressured him to marry her and he was furious. However he finally agreed to get engaged to her. That was the most memorable moment of her life, but she knew that he would never love her. She will do anything to make him love her.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Maya stopped in front of the couple and she smiled. And said wow my beloved boyfriend why haven't you invited me to your engagement ceremony. I thought to surprise you but you were the one who surprised me wow.<br/><br/>How long were you planning on not telling me asked Maya. Trevor stepped forward to hold her hand, but she stepped back and said how long Trevor. From here he knew that he has lost her.</p>
