New York

i was in New York before the rift opened, I watched as the portal open and I knew this was the first of many disasters. I hid within the alley ways and walked in the shadows. I had prepared a dark coat and mask before everything went down. I wanted to hid until my chance to steal the tesseract during the time between closing the portal and where i saw all the avengers arrest Loki would be my chance. The problem was that I need to somehow scale the Stark building without anyone noticing. So making my way through the streets i had a few close encounters but over all no one saw me. At least i thought...

I saw a second into the future where a laser blasted straight through me and i dodged out of the way. A alien soldier was pointing a gun at me and i managed to dodge another bullet as he ran toward me. I could only see the future when i would have a close encounter with either heavy injury or death. So when I blast blew the soldier up and flung it's gun into the air i fumbled backwards on my ass. Falling backwards i managed to see iron man fly away to attack other aliens. I grabbed the gun and began running toward the Stark building once more. The gun would be useful in case a similar situation. I got lucky with Iron man but i wasn't prepared to fight in any other situation.

i climbed the tower surprisingly easy there was virtually know one who really stopped me as they were either just normal employees hiding or occupied with other things. I managed to spot the tesseract and the device it was stored within just above. I walked toward the roof and spotted Dr. Selvig just before the device. I waited for my chance to grab the staff off the ground and free the tesseract. I saw in my visions of the exact placement if I interfered early i would loose my chance, If i interfered to late i would likely doom Manhattan with a nuke sent by the government. Which totally proved i was right, only i could only truly survive if i was powerful. My chance would be when Dr. Selvig was free from the staffs control.

I watched from within the balcony area just out of his sight. I saw him begin to get off the ground and i ran to grab the staff before he saw it. Climbing just past hit him in the back of the head to knock him out. I felt bad since he just woke up but my attention was immediately focused on shoving the staff into the energy shield. I jammed the staff into the line of energy turning off power to the rift. If i was right with the timing it would be just before the suggestion of nukes. My head was pounding with pain as I drop the staff and grabbed hold of the tesseract. I would take the scepter yet, I would need the Ultron for one of my visions. I had seen the creation of the actual hero named Vision so i wanted to let the creation to occurring which meant leaving behind the scepter.

I saw Black Widow heading towards my location on one of the flying scouters and I activated the tesseract just before she arrived. Sending me to off to another world.
