I don't like chapter 1...

We arrived at the headquarters and I had a meeting with Fury up first on my agenda. I walked to his office and knocked on the door.

"Come in!!" Fury called.

I walked in and sat in the chair in front of his desk.

"Why have I gotten a call from Stark saying you're kicked from the Avengers? Explain now." Fury told me.

I told him how I was going off on a trip for my birthday which meant I would be gone for about 3 days or less and that they could contact me if I was needed for an AVengers level threat. Explained how me and Tony got in an argument about it and how it wound up with me saying I quit and Tony calling S.H.I.E.L.D.

"What are you thinking you can't just run off like you're a child going off on a playdate!" Fury yelled.

"But Sir-" I started.

"No buts Agent you are in a lot of dam trouble for this little stunt you just pulled." He said.

I looked down and nodded.

"Go to your quarters and I expect the mission reports I am going to send to you they will be organized and put into files ready for analysis by 3 am tomorrow morning. Am I clear?"

"Yes sir." I said looking down.

"You are dismissed, someone is waiting for you outside to take you to your quarters."

I nodded and saw who was waiting for me and to my surprise it was Matthew.

"Hey, birthday girl. Why the long face?" He asked as we started walking.

"Today hasn't been the best." I said sadly.

"Yeah I'm sorry that we can't go on our trip but look on the bright side you work here now so we can see each other more. That's a good thing right?"

"Yeah I guess you're right." I said, having a small smile on my face.

"Always look on the bright side. Or like one of my favorite characters says,"Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." Matthew said in a weird accent, that made us both laugh.

"Who says that?" I ask, smiling.

"Why the great Albus Dumbledore." Matthew says in another funny accent.

"Who's that?" I ask

"You don't know Harry Potter?"Matthew looks at me bewildered.

"Nooooo?"

"Well, I will lend you the movies for you to watch and we will get the books too." He says

"There are books and movies?" I ask.

"Yep" He says as we arrive at my quarters.

"Well I hope I can see them." I say.

"I will lend you them, I will bring them by in a little bit so you can watch them. There should be a DVD player in your room."

I smile and hug him, and he hugs back.

"Thank you thank you thank you!!" I say happily.

"Of course now run off I hear you have some work to do before you can watch Harry Potter."

I nod and we say our goodbyes.

I start on the mission reports and I finish them rather fast. Once I finished the last one I heard a knock on my door. I go to open it and see Matthew holding 7 books and a thick DVD case.

"Here are the Harry Potter books and movies for your enjoyment." He says in a funny accent.

I laugh and take 4 of the books and put them on my bed and Matthew puts the rest on there too.

"It's perfect timing considering that I have just finished my work." I say looking at all the books.

"Indeed it is''He says in a royal accent and makes me giggle, "an I wish I could enjoy them with you but I got some work to get done so you will have to watch them without me." He says.

"Have fun, see you later Aria." He says kissing me on the top of my head.

I giggle and say bye, I turned to the DVDs and got out the first one and put it in the DVD player. The intro started and I started putting the books on shelves and once done I clicked play movie and sat down to watch it. I wound up watching up too the third movie before I fell asleep that night. I dreamt of going to Hogwarts and finally being accepted. But like all dreams I had to wake up eventually.

I woke up to an alarm going off through the building saying that there was a threat.

I got up still in my jeans and baby tee rushing out and grabbing a gun from the emergency holders and heading to the holding cells to see if anything was there.

Turns out one of the people we were holding there was going ballistic and killing off agents to get out. I hid behind a corner and took a deep breath and turned around hiding my gun behind my back. I didn't want him to immediately think of me as a threat.

"Hey!!" I called out

He turned to me ready to attack but didn't, "What do you want little girl?" He asked snidely.

"Could you stop? I don't want to hurt but I don't want more people dying either." I said

"Sorry kid, not gonna happen."

"Then you leave me no choice." I said readying my gun behind my back.

"What are you going to do kid, scream for mommy and daddy?" He laughed.

I ran at him and punched him, but it didn't do anything but provoke him. He growled and swung at me. I backflipped away and shot at his face. He put his arm out over his face and the bullets did nothing but graze him. And this was my oh shit what did I just do moment. I ran and he chased after me, I tried to lose him but couldn't until Thor came in and knocked him through a wall. I kept running till I bumped into matthew.

"Aria, oh thank God I thought you died." He said squatting down and hugging me.

"Yeah well, I would have if it wasn't for Thor." I said pulling back.

Another thud sounded and Matthew picked me up and ran carrying away. I saw the guys come out 3x bigger than he was originally. I was actually terrified. Matthew hid us in a closet as the dude ran past and shortly after I heard Steve's shield hitting things and Tony's repulsors going off. Matthew sighed and opened the door and peaked out then ran with me back to my room and had me stay as he went to help.

I moved all The Harry Potter stuff to a bag and threw it in my luggage and my leather bag too. I put that stuff in a little area in the closet for if anything were to happen to the building like catching on fire or the building collapsing it would be safe and we could find our most important valuables after the fact.

The building started shaking and I saw cracks starting to appear so I grabbed my weapons and holsters for them and put them all on and hid under my bed knowing it's the safest place when my room was locked from the outside plus I wouldn't be able to get out before the building would collapse anyway. Considering an Avengers fight was happening in the building that made the structural integrity get lower faster.

Sooner than I thought my roof came down on me. I screamed and covered my neck and head with my hands and arms and curled in a ball. I screamed again when one of my walls came down.

"Aria?!" I heard someone call.

I screamed again hearing a gunshot ring out and the whole building shaking. I was terrified and the voice didn't call out anymore. I assumed they got killed by a shot. I screamed again as more concrete fell on the bed. Luckily the bed was reinforced with steel on the bottom so it wasn't breaking...yet anyway.

I screamed some more as more of the building came down. I saw people running right by my room and not batting an eye to save me. Some stopped but then more of the building came down and they ran too.
