77. Sister's by Heart

"Let's cheers in celebration of Anastasia's return from a hard mission. Congratulations on defending your title as a Falcon Eyes Anastasia." Zade said as everyone smiled.

"Your so cool Anastasia," Zackeeyah said as Anastasia smiled while Aaron was quiet the whole time.

"Aaron's birthday is coming up, What are your plans?" Anastasia asked as Aaron stopped eating and looked at her.

"I'm planning to propose to Mary." He answered plainly as Anastasia smiled bravely even if those words almost telling her to die that instant.

"I see, You must have wanted to settle down all this time." Anastasia said as the ambiance become awkward knowing how Anastasia felt for Aaron as Aaron's love for Mary never disappears.

Zade cleared his throat as he caught all of their attention.

"Anyway, Target will be off duty for a week since she will be spending some quality time with Halix. Can you accommodate Zachary for awhile Anastasia? I know you just got home and..."

"I'll do it." Anastasia said firmly as Zade smiled at her. "Are you sure about that? I know it was too much of a request to take down the Crocodile and Jellyfish Empire and now you have another mission again. Are you sure that you don't want to rest?" Zade asked again reassuring that Anastasia is really okay upon his request.

"I'm good, Boss. You don't need to worry about it." Anastasia said as Wendy smiled at her knowing that she just wants distraction from Aaron so that she will finally move on.

"I'm planning to go back to the Village of Mercy and check on Mary." Wendy started that stopped everyone.

"What are you thinking going back to the place that almost killed you?" Jayden asked knowing how traumatic things happened back then when Wendy was pregnant with the twins.

"Jayden, Isn't it time for you to check on their graves?" Wendy asked as everyone looked at Jayden.

"Ahhh you're spoiling the food Babe, Let's just talk about this later." Zade said as Wendy glared at him.

"This is something that should be talked about right now especially since I'm pregnant again. Those family of yours save me and it won't hurt that much to pay a visit on their graves Jayden." Wendy said being stubborn as Zade sighed.

Everyone at the table had their mouth open in shock except for Aaron since he already knew about it and still continued eating.

"Your pregnant Mom?!" Zackeeyah asked as Wendy nodded.

'I see, Wendy is pregnant again but this time it doesn't hurt that much. Am I finally letting go of the person that I love the most?' Jayden thought as he looked at Wendy smiling and back to Zackeeyah who looked excited about the news.

"Jayden, Come with me at the village of Mercy together with the twins. They also need to know the past." Wendy said as Jayden bowed his head in response knowing that Wendy will not take no as an answer.

After that dinner Zackeeyah went to her room as Jayden followed her in her veranda.

"Say Jayden, Why didn't you try visiting your family's grave?" Zackeeyah asked as she was drying her hair.

"I was just busy," he said as Zackeeyah opened the Veranda where Jayden is sitting on the edge. "You can just tell me Jayden, I'm not an idiot. You must have a reason behind your decisions." Zackeeyah said as Jayden smiled.

'She sounds like Wendy pffft...'

"Stop thinking about me being my Mom, We are both different people." Zackeeyah said as Jayden looked at her. "You're right, You're way too different from Wendy." he said as Zackeeyah sat next to him.

"In the Mafia business a person's life is just something that is too easy to dispose of. Even my parents trained us not to get emotional if both of them died because of their work. Yet I think you came from a normal Family, No one taught you how to disregard the feeling of losing someone." Zackeeyah explained that Jayden smiled sadly.

"You're right, Since I came from a normal family no one taught me how not to get emotional but on that moment I already made a choice and I had chosen Wendy over my Family." he said.

"Wendy was pregnant and weak, I only have one choice and it's too late for me to look back." he said as Zackeeyah reach her arms towards him and hugged him tightly.

"That's right, You just felt guilty for not saving your family." Zackeeyah said as Jayden starts tearing up as he hugged her tightly.

At the corner of the room Wendy smiled hearing Zackeeyah and Jayden's conversation.

"What are you eavesdropping for?" Zade asked as Wendy jump in shock. "Shhhh I think they are really hitting it off." Wendy said as Zade nibbled on her neck.

"Just let them be," Zade whispered as Wendy smiled seeing how Jayden was being comforted by her daughter Zackeeyah.

'This time it isn't me and my comfort that Jayden wants. Now it's from Zackeeyah.' Wendy thought as Aaron cleared his throat.

"If your done doing PDA in the hallway please go to your room and sleep." Aaron said bitterly as Wendy laughed.

"Your so bitter Aaron." Wendy said as Aaron rolled his eyes. "You should also come to the village of Mercy with us Aaron especially that Wendy is in there." Aaron sighed hearing such things from Wendy. 

"I see that your avoiding that village is it because you feel guilty? Both you and Jayden should move on and face the reality. That village is a change village now." Wendy said as Aaron looked at Zade who is also staring at him too right now. 

"Boss," he pleaded as Zade hold into Wendy's shoulder. "Let's just let Aaron do what he wants Babe." Zade whispered as Wendy sighed. 

"Mary is in there and yet he is in here serving us. He should be there with Mary after all this coming Saturday will be Margaret's death anniversary." Wendy said as Aaron didn't know anything about it. "She didn't say anything about that." Aaron said as Wendy smiled. 

"Why would she when it is your job to find out about her. Even Jayden knew about those little things. Do you even actually care for her Aaron? Or she's just someone that pushes your limit that's why you wanted her by your side?" Wendy asked as Aaron was speechless. 

"Wendy," Zade called with a warning tone as she is crossing the line again. "I just want to make sure about your decision making Aaron because this time its marriage your talking about and that cousin of mine is also my sister by heart." Wendy said as Aaron bow down his head. 

"I will keep that in my mind Young Missy." Aaron said as Wendy and Zade went to their rooms leaving Aaron on the hallway. He stands firm when he heard a piano in the music room as it is Anastasia playing as she starts singing.
