Settling in to a new life

"Simone." I inhaled sharply, "So this is where Nikki lives?", Simone laughed, "While you were in hiding on the islands, Nikki was building an Empire, she now runs one of the most successful shopping complex with branches in Doropaemum, Myeangdong and Sinsa-dong Garosugil districts in Seoul alone and many more worldwide." I rolled my eyes while shaking my head, "Whatever." I smiled, Simone laughed "Let's go in." we entered the house it was huge inside and out, Nikki greeted us by the door, a huge smile plastered on her face. "Remi." she screamed excitedly and ran towards me with a great big hug, we learned from young family and friends are important, you never abandon, betray or forsake them at any time. Nikki ushered us in and showed us the house inside and out, the house consisted of seven bedrooms and four bathrooms, everyone got their own room no more sharing. Every room had a king size bed and a walk in closet, only the master bedroom had an adjoining bath, with two of the remaining three bathrooms upstairs and the other downstairs. The kitchen was huge, the adjoining dining area and nook was huge, you could see out into the spacious backyard from the glass walls in the kitchen, it was beautiful.

The living room was spaciously open with a fire place close to where a side door was located, the kids raced up the stairs, "No fights." I yelled, Simone and Nikki just smiled. They sat me down, "Dan was enrolled in Busan Foreign School he starts tomorrow, Jadenne, Mimi and Galaxy has been enrolled into Busan National University of Education, they also begin tomorrow." Simone said. I nodded my head and Nikki took all the papers and documents Simone had with her, "You need to go to this address and speak to a gentleman by the name of Choi Sang." Simone continued with a smile and messaged me the address. "He is expecting you tomorrow morning at nine o'clock." she finished and stood up to leave, "Don't be late." I smiled at Simone, "Thank you so much." I told her, Simone just smiled back. "Oh before I forget an old friend will be visiting you later, so settle in and enjoy Remi." and with that Simone left. I go t up and began heading to the stairs, Nikki in tow, "We could go to the mall, I have some items that would look good for your first day and the kids need some new clothes." she started. "We could order pizza for tonight and tomorrow you and I can go grocery shopping. How does that sound?" she finished.

I smiled, "That sounds like a plan." I told her, "Okay kids settle in." Nikki yelled as she stood half way up the staircase, I was already at the top heading to my room when suddenly the door bell rang. I stopped, Dan and Jadenne ran to the rails of the staircase and looked down, I motioned for them to stay where they were. Nikki cautiously walked to the door while I telepathically urged the boys to ready themselves in case of trouble, Nikki openned the door slowly and a head peered through the doorway, Dan jumped over the staircase rails about to attack. As the youngest Dan was always more impulsive than the others, so trying to rein him in telepathically was still a task, "DAN NO!' I shouted as I recognized the face in the doorway. "I feel loved." the person laughed, I ran down the stairs and jumped into the arms of the guy in the doorway, "Tyler!" I squealed, a huge smile beaming on my face. Tyler Cummings is what human call a lycan or werewolf, he can transform whenever he needs, only on full moons does he becomes feral and needs to be restrained, Tyler is one of the few friends I have left and he is also my ex-boyfriend, but we both ended things amicably and remained best friends. Tyler's dad was the leader of their wolf pack and like his dad Tyler can communicate with and command wolves whenever he wants, "Tyler why are you here?" I inquired.

"I got a call from Simone, explaining the situation, so I thought you could use a friend and some protection." he smiled as he entered the house. "Thanks Tyler but I wouldn't want to put you in danger." I answered, "I would gladly walk into hell for you Remi." he stated with a smile and headed up the stairs. "Who wants to go out for dinner?" he shouted as he walked half way up the stairs, Nikki began laughing, "Lets go." she shouted as she grabbed her keys. Dan and I went with Nikki in her car, while the twins and Jadenne jumped into Tyler's car, we went to the mall closest to Nikki's house and the kids went wild with Tyler in encouragement. At Nikki's store everyone was fitted with outfits for the new school day and me for my interview, the next morning we roused the squad and they began getting readied for their day. Tyler volunteered to get the kids to their respective schools, Nikki volunteered to drop me off to the restaurant on her way to work, when I arrived at the restaurant I entered and inquired about the individual Mr. Choi Sang. "Mr. Choi is in his office." a waitress replied quietly, "Follow me." she said, I followed and was shown to a closed door, I knocked on the door and quiet voice responded, "Please come in."

I openned the door and entered to be greeted by a ruggedly handsome guy, with a square jawline and a soft tanned complexion, "Umm Mr. Choi." I stuttered, he smiled as he looked up at me. "Yes that's me, you must be Remikka Kwon, Simone called me to let me know you would be coming in." he said still smiling at me. "Sit down, you have the job, this is just a formality." he added, "Simone and I are good friends, I trust her advice and instincts. Besides I owe her a favor, but now that I have met you I'm glad I said yes." he added with a wink as he smirked at me. I she flirting with me? I thought, I don't know if I should be offended or flattered, I'm probably just reading too much into his statement, "Thanks." I answered "When do I start?" I asked. "Well let me show you around, Ms. Kwon.", he said "It's Miss Kwon." I laughed "I'm single, but you can call me Remi." I added surprising myself with my response. "Okay Remi, come along." he smiled giving me another wink, "You can call me Sang." he added as he openned the door. Sang showed me around the restaurant and explained what my job would be, soon I was back home before Nikki, Tyler or the kids got home, "Well I better start dinner." I said to myself as I walked towards the kitchen.
