Mathias remembered that Lady Julia was the second concubine of King Eclessias and the mother of the Second Prince and Princess Stella. It seemed that Mathias had offended Princess Stella, causing Lady Julia to act against him and dismiss his butler. Although Lady Julia had less influence than the First Concubine and the Queen, she still had enough power to influence the Head Butler to dismiss a Butler serving Prince Mathias.
"I don't have the power to disobey, my Prince," said Butler Edward as he bowed his head.
"I'm here to bid you farewell as your butler. I can only serve you until tomorrow, when the Head Butler will change my duties to serve the Second Prince instead." Edward had a family to support, with a wife and two children.
That was why he had accepted the job of serving the Fifth Prince, who had a bad reputation as an untalented freeloader.
Although the Fifth Prince had a reputation for being difficult, he had not treated Edward badly and Mathias had even stood up for himself for in the past.
Edward had grown attached to Mathias and treated him almost like a nephew.
However, when the Head Butler offered him the choice between serving the Fifth Prince without any additional compensation or serving the Second Prince and receiving a better salary, he had no choice but to accept the latter.
"Why so suddenly?" asked Mathias, his face still gloomy.
He wanted to know more about the situation from his soon-to-be-former butler.
"The Head Butler didn't give a specific reason," replied Edward, looking down at the floor with guilt. "But he hinted that it might have something to do with your conflict with Princess Stella. The Second Prince also recently dismissed an incompetent butler, so he needed a replacement."
Mathias nodded calmly, his frown disappearing.
He ordered Edward to return to his family rather than stay with him, and Edward walked away without looking at Mathias at the whole conversation.
Mathias understands that it must be Edward feeling guilty, however, Mathias doesn't care.
With his system, it's not impossible to have a better butler.
Mathias shook his head before turning attention to his system interface.

Mathias rubbed his chin and realized that he couldn't use his two combat skills due to a lack of agility and strength.
He decided to allocate 10 points towards both strength and agility. He put the remaining points towards dexterity and durability.
As for stamina, he added 1 point to it, planning to focus on it more in the future. He knew that if he didn't increase his stamina and surpassed it with too much strength and other stats, he would get tired quickly if he ever had to fight.

Mathias was pleased with the increase in his strength and agility.
His body also got muscular but lean and perfect; however, it can't be noticed when he is wearing clothes.
He was curious to see how he compared to other powerful people in this world.
He had only been in this world and inside the palace for a day and a half, yet he had already gained a significant amount of strength from one maid.
He wondered if his strength was enough to defeat that brat Lance.
His dexterity allowed him to control his sudden increase in strength and agility.
Without it, he might accidentally destroy things or lose control of his speed and direction, causing him to run into things or be unable to stop himself.
Feeling confident in his new abilities, Mathias decided to try them out. He cast an inferior invisibility spell from the illusion magic skill to save on mana.
Although it was not as effective as the shadow walk skill in hiding his presence, it was still acceptable. His body merged with and camouflaged the background as he opened the window to his room.
When he looked outside, he saw that although he was only on the second floor of the palace, the palace was built on a hill and was quite tall.
The second floor was already high off the ground and Mathias hesitated for a moment.
Nevertheless, he decided to take the risk and jump out of the window to perform a parkour through the palace grounds, as there were things to step on from the palace windows, such as balconies and roofs, as well as gaps in the walls.
