How are you spending tonight?

My sister is in university, she went to Oxford and she's spending Christmas on her boyfriend (the neighbor boy also went to Oxford, both in Law) in his father's place also in Oxford. My mom is currently in Auckland, New Zealand, it's her 7th destination, she's having the time of her life, she's happy in a way I haven't seen in years, I'm proud of her, of her and of my sister, though I warned my brother-in-law through death threats, that if he harm, hurt, or get her pregnant any time soon, I'll castrate and torture him, and then kill him slowly and painfully, and I also added that I'll enjoy doing it.

I will if it came to that. I hope it won't.

Well, guess who climbed the ladder? I'm now two promotions away from the one I'm craving, I got a total of five promotions this years, I'm overworking, and it's actually been insanely fun. Does that make me a masochist. The time I have left, I call the girls, I go to the gym, and then I cook or bake something for me to eat, it gives me joy. Then I work, I don't need much time to sleep.

So, I have only been in vary casual sex and once in a while, barely twice a month. Just to help with my blue balls. The last three times it was with a coworker, she made a move on me, she's a bitch and she's annoying, and I won't have anything past this with her, but she's not so bad in bed, can't take me, but better than nothing. She's in love with a guy from another department though, but he's currently dating.

My boss is still iceberg cold, and I think she might be a robot, she's the talk of everyone in the company all the time. There are so many rumors about her, and nobody really knows the truth. Her personal assistant is just as cold as she is, she's the silent type, and she's old, like a witch, she creeps me out, in a way that she would totally suit Halloween.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to talk much this time, because the executives of the company, the evil iceberg included, decided that the 26th is a working day because it's Monday, so, I have work tomorrow, and there's a lot to do.

Now, my guess for this time is: Die For You.

Oh, it's been a while since we talked about books. I've read The Cruel Prince and Throne of Glass, I have notes all over the books, in all the ones I read actually, I hope one day when we meet, I'll be able to give them to you, so you will know my thoughts on them. I separate them in colors: red for the scenes I love, green for the ones that make me laugh, yellow for the tenser scenes, blue for the sad ones, orange for the ones that confuse me and make me theorize about what could do, and purple for the ones I hate.

Jude and Aelin? Oh my, they are absolutely perfect. Both, they are very similar in fact. I loved Cardan, and I loved Dorian, and I loved Manon, and I loved Rowan. So, yes, I loved them.

I think I loved Throne of Glass better, I had all emotions possible while reading it all, starting from the Assassin's Blade, which destroyed me for that certain death, to the last one that made me freak out because of the ACoTaR easter egg. I couldn't handle the wait, and I read the Crescent City book, and I loved it.

I'm spending Christmas alone, with a bowel of tiramisu, a bubbly Italian wine, four boxes of pepperoni pizza, strawberry shortcake ice cream, and I spend the entire 24th marathoning Harry Potter, I just finished the last one a while ago, and it reminded me of you, 🫂.

I'm ready for your dark book recommendations, I have a feeling it's dark romance, I've heard about some, but I was waiting to have your recommendation on it. If possible, one that has audiobooks, it'll be better to work while listening to them. I've been doing that a lot.
