Elder Qi entered the Netherworld Devil Sect in his youth and had stayed until he became a protector of the Shady Hall.
He was responsible for the resources of the Shady Hall. He collected the resources from each stronghold, took them into account, then sent them to the Netherworld Devil Sect.
Thus, most of Elder Qi's time was not spent in the Devil Abyss.
When the powerful members of the Netherworld Devil Sect withdrew, he was not with them and so was unable to escape with them.
Everyone who was outside of the Sect had been abandoned and were unable to contact the senior leaders of the Netherworld Devil Sect. Naturally, he was also unable to contact them.
Thus, Elder Qi also did not know where the senior leaders of the Netherworld Devil Sect were.
Checking through his memories, Su Mo felt very impatient but he did find some other information inside Elder Qi's memories.
It was about Wu Shan, or more accurately, about Li Feng.
