LAND OF TRUTH

A desolate landscape stretched out before them devoid of any features, the sun didn't exist nor did the moon. Grey clouds filled the sky with lightning tracing through them, whether they signified the coming of rain or a natural phenomena was left unknown.

Snarls and growls echoed everywhere.

Turning his head round were all humans numbering million but little could be said as fear covered there faces, children and adults all acted like they knew not each other.

Steeling his nerves, Alex decided to talk out, he had always been a charismatic person coupled with his blonde hair and handsome looks he got the best in life raised with a silver spoon but little did he care about it before he made his presence to the world, who didn't know him as the top model of USA, he had reigned for years and secured his place among them all.

"My fellow humans" he shouted, all eyes turning to him with a hint of apprehension on there faces.

"We have been thrown in this place without knowing what to do or what will happen apart from to search for the truth, I'm sure that we'll soon find out but I don't think it'll be quick since the sounds of beasts encroaching is getting louder and louder."

After saying this, he looked at everybody again, surprised that even thoughs not close to him could all hear, was this the effect of the land.

Still, noticing the fear increasing on there faces at the mention of beasts and mumbling breaking out he called again.

"But need not worry, I can assure you all we'll survive, since we were sent to seek the truth then we won't die now, even if our deaths come we'll be reincarnated, most of us were tired of our former lives and now we've seen that we are not the only ones, reincarnation is real and we move to the future, we move to seek a beautiful life, a life where nothing can stop us, we'll be the strongest with our memories and knowledge nobody in the other worlds will be able to defeat us so let's charge into the beasts for the future we want" raising his hand high in the sky seeing the inspiration on everybody's face, he started running.

People moved aside for him as some other youths charged with him outside the encirclement of humans.

Bit by bit the crowd grew charging forward forgetting that the beasts were all around then not only Infront of them. As they charged forward so did the beasts devouring them from the back silently.

"To our reincarnation!" A child shouted jumping into the shadows to be eaten before he could comprehend what was going on.

Slowly the beasts became visible, in the front was a 1legged beast leading them all.

On his body were different colors and fur as they all contrasted to give a rainbow or a more frightening image of demons.

His eyes were a deep crimson hue with seaweed green iris no nose or mouth but the weird part was, how it ran with an unnatural gait on one leg.

Not hopping but running faster than a 4 legged or 2 legged beast, a hint of craziness and hunger displaying in his body.

Unknown to all, Alex had stopped running since, he moved in the middle of humans. He wasn't stupid to think that they'll get reincarnated or any of that rubbish, he laughed in his mind as his expression changed a cruel grin showcasing his true intentions.

'Simple creature's, did they really think that all he said would happen, his life was the only thing that mattered even if the whole world would die, he'd do anything to save his life and all these fool's ran straight to there deaths to give him a chance to live, yes they would be the fodder for the beasts while he would wait, no matter who bought them, an explanation must be made, there death would not affect the course of life, he would seek the full truth and get his desires fulfilled, nobody could stop him even if it meant becoming a tyrant'.

Bones were broken and chewed as the wave of beasts washed down on all of them from all sides. The 1legged beast was worse, it had no mouth but any human he passed disappeared, no bones or scream were heard as it got larger and larger approaching the center, the amount of humans that disappeared due to its passing had passed two hundred thousand.

It's deep crimson eyes became golden hue while the iris became black showing nothing but enchanting everybody that looked into it to be frozen from afar screaming for there death.

Fear gripped Alex as the beast stopped in it's tracks turning it's head to look at him, quickly avoiding eye contact he ran away, nothing not even in his wildest dreams did he ever think that his end was near. He felt one of his arm cut off as another beast stepped out from his shadows, it looked identical to the 1legged beast but smaller and having 2legs, gazing into it's eyes Alex felt his whole world turn upside down.

Everything was moving at a minuscule speed, he felt like he could feel a deep connection with the universe, a glimpse of the truth passed through his head

All the beasts stopped moving before the 1 legged released a screech and ran away as fast as it could with fear.

Alex was left with 1 hand and bloody clothes but before he could understand what happened, a bright light illuminating far and wide spread out from the grey sky as the lightning ceased to exist, a being covered in light came out but none could discern it's features.

"Heed my call mortals non shall be reincarnated, from now nobody will protect you in the LAND OF TRUTH. In a span of 2weeks, the beast will be released to do as they wish, only the truth will save you, seek your strength in that which you want. No interference will happen anymore. Find the TRUTH OF THE UNIVERSE and your desire will be fulfilled"

With that, the light disappeared leaving the humans to fend for themselves in the desolate landscape while the lightning started to streak across the sky.
