She snapped her head in the direction of the one who distracted her and saw Tally looking at her extremely amused. She then looked at the rest of the girls and they were all looking at her too.
'Ooohh SOOO embarrassing! Why her and why tonight?!' she tried to style it out some how by clearing her throat and then looking up at the celling but of course the classics failed her, she then heard the girls chuckling, she signed. 'Ok whatever he's ridiculously handsome so it's not embarrassing to be caught looking at him anyway' she tried to convince herself.
"I don't know what is going on with me, but I'm really attracted to him."- Sophia said to the girls as they looked at her waiting for her to finish speaking. "Of course, you are attracted to him, just look at the man, who wouldn't be!"- Amanda replied, amused and a little jealous of her friend. She knew she would never be able to get him or any of them as a matter of fact, in her lifetime. This thought stung her a bit at the beginning, but she didn't dwell on it because she knew it was just the way of fate and frankly it was for the best, for everyone.
With this thought she looked back at Sophia and gave her a heartfelt smile. Tally on the other hand seemed to know what was going on in Amanda head and gave her a comforting smile, she too understood the dilemma of the situation, she used to love someone but then found out that it could never happen between them, in fact it would destroy their people if it did!
So here she was, sitting and chatting and enjoying the company of Sophia and she honestly loved being her friend, however it made her feel confused at times, how was it even possible to like the person she was supposed to dislike but here she was. It was just the type of person Sophia was. Too likable, too loveable.
As the girls chatted whilst having their own thoughts in their head, the guys brough them their drinks and sat in their respective seats, they started conversations that revolved around the things they enjoyed doing or making jokes with each other. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun.
Alexander who was sitting on the single armchair next to Sophia was having the most fun as he got to sit next to her and he felt his skin buzzing by being so close to her, he couldn't believe he was the first! His knew what this meeting/night out signified, nearly everyone in the group who were in the know new what this meant and now that she was sitting next to him, he was nervous but excited, he turned to her and noticed she was chatting to the girls and laughing about something but sometime would peak at him.
He then looked at her whilst he was talking to Sammy and Marc and the others, about the formers working in the café and working as baristas and it turned out that Sammy owned it, he owned several cafes in fact, all over London and the surrounding boroughs. When Sophia heard this part of the conversation she was stunned. She had no idea he owns the café and several others.
She thought it was impressive. But after a few seconds she didn't think much about it, she like Sammy for himself so it was awesome he was so accomplished, but it didn't really matter. As she continued to talk to the girls, drink and laugh, she started to feel hot, and it was a burning heat.
It was a painful heat that came out of nowhere. It was scary, and it hurt! WTAF! she started to sweat and feel an inner burning itch that was hard for her to describe and as she cried out, Alexander and a of few men stiffened and snapped their attention to her. They then quickly moved to her side as well as the girls, "Sophia, what happened!"- Jessica, exclaimed.
She had never seen Sophia react this way before. It was terrifying. Alexander quickly picked Sophia up and called out to the rest of the group to follow him. He decided to take them to his office which was two floors above the one they were on now. He rushed carrying her out of the room led by Marc while Jackson stayed behind to clear the floor as told to do by Jack, who by the way was the quite one of the group. But for some reason he looked really apprehensive, which worried the group.
