Chapter 43 :- Meeting Xiao Wu

The boys were astonished and surprised to see Wang Sheng's martial spirit change. They have never heard of such an extraordinary thing happening before.

All of the boys had fiery eyes and were looking forward to becoming Wang Sheng's subordinates.

They have never heard of, let alone see a pill that's enough to change someone's martial spirit and destiny, to a soaring height.

[" Your Martial Spirits are already Heaven defying. And as they share the same root as you, and were a part of your former self from 3000 worlds, they were transformed into your Martial Spirits.

Your Martial Spirits are the sublimation of your incarnation of 3000 worlds which is from a much higher and advanced plane compared to Douluo Realm, so it is very difficult to upgrade your Martial Spirit by the standards of Douluo Realm."]

Hearing this Yang Kai became dejected but suddenly become excited.

" Hey System, you said it is difficult but not impossible. That means there is a way for both my Martial Spirits to mutate?"

[" Ah, Yes! it is possible but I highly doubt that you boy can stick to it to the end, as it requires forbearance and luck."]

"Come on, just answer already!" replied Yang Kai impatiently.

[" Ok, don't blame me later! There are three ways for your spirit to evolve.

One with the help of System lottery packs, which is relatively easy.

The other one is by increasing your Divine Dragon bloodline and source strength ascending a higher realm of Super Divine Spirits and,

the last one is by finding natural heaven and earth treasures, which are even rare in my world and are chance encounters."]

[" So if you want to evolve your Martial Spirit, the most feasible one is System lottery pack, but the difficulty is still high and it may take a while so don't become impatient."] replied the system.

Yang Kai sighed with relief hearing System's reply. He was expectant to see what would happen if his Martial Spirit evolved.

He knew this process would take a while, so he calmed down his emotion and focused on the condition of Wang Sheng.

Yang saw the boys standing on their sides, their faces dejected so Yang Kai didn't give any special attention to them and focused on Wang Sheng's condition.

Currently, Wang Sheng was in a daze, he never thought his Martial Spirits will evolve. Now that his Martial Spirit has evolved he felt powerful and much more energetic than before. His body Constitution has changed being baptised by the pill energy in Yang Kai's pill and has become much more sturdy.

There was excitement in his eyes, though this process was painful, Wang Sheng clenched his fist and endured.

After enduring for about an hour and a half his body adjusted to the newfound changes.

He got up excitedly and laughed like a maniac for a minute before calming down.

He saw that the boys were standing at the sides looking at him, he did not think much about it and started looking around searching for a particular boy.

When he saw Yang Kai standing at a distance, he hurriedly approached him,

"Thanks for the pill, Young Master. My martial spirit has now changed thanks to your pill."

" Without your magnanimity, I would not have had such an opportunity. I can't even think of how to repay your grace in this life. So this Wang swears that I will be always loyal and follow my young master through every up and down. If I ever break this oath, I shall be punished by the heavens and struck by thunder." Wang Sheng took a hard oath in front of Yang Kai.

Yang Kai did not expect Wang Sheng to be so decisive and took a poisonous oath to pledge loyalty to himself. Suddenly Yang Kai became interested in this kid.

But Yang Kai was not in a hurry to promise Wang Sheng. He planned to observe him and the other kids for a while before taking them in.

"Hey, don't you stand here with your stinky body. Go wash and save me the urge to vomit on you!" Yang Kai replied.

Only then did Wang Sheng become aware of something. He looked at his body only to see that he was covered in nasty black greasy impurities, even his clothes were wet with it.

When Wang Sheng took the pill, his body was transformed, discharging the impurities from his body in the process.

Wang Sheng stopped his urge to vomit after sniffing the foul smell and ran outside to wash himself.

A group of students followed him outside while the other stayed.

Seeing the dormitory somewhat empty, Yang Kai relaxed and chose an empty bed for himself.

He lay down on the bed and thought about the past one month in the forest where he had to sleep in caves and eat soul beasts, he sighed with emotion.

" It feels good to be back into the human world after staying in the jungle for a month. Who knows where is that little bunny, Xiao Wu. Now that I've not seen her for a month I miss her a little."

After resting for half an hour Yang Kai got up from the bed and started enquiring about Xiao Wu to the boys of the seventh dormitory.

When Yang Kai asked about Xiao Wu, the boys replied that they saw Xiao Wu and Tang San left for Martial Soul Hall to collect their monthly allowance of a gold coin just before his arrival and would be back by evening.

Yang Kai suddenly became uncomfortable as he heard Xiao Wu accompany Tang San to the market.

"Why am I upset, she is just a little loli. How can I become attracted to her? " Yang Kai started chanting heart calming mantras to distract his thoughts from Xiao Wu.

"No, it must be that I was thinking about completing the system mission all this time. Yes, that's it I was planning to complete the system goddess mission all this time." Yang Kai convinced himself repeatedly.

Suddenly his thoughts were interrupted by a bunch of students. He looked, only to see Wang Sheng fainted and being carried to his bed.

Yang Kai went and asked about what happened to those students. After some checking, he found Wang Sheng fainted due to the harsh toll on his body during the Martial Spirit transformation. His spirit power was probably exhausted. So Yang Kai told the boys to let him rest for a day and that he would be fine.

After much hesitation, Yang Kai decided to ask someone about Xiao Wu's bed, some of the boys pointed him to a double bed near a large window.

Upon closer look, Yang Kai found that two single beds were joined together. He could smell the faint fragrance of Xiao Wu's body and on the other, he felt had the smell of Tang San. Yang Kai's frowned at this sudden development.

To verify his suspicion he decided to ask some boys. After learning about the fact that Xiao Wu and Tang San have been sleeping together like this for 3 years, he clenched his hand in resentment, but he didn't let his emotions be portrayed in his face.

His resentment for Tang San reached a whole new level. He decided to teach Tang San a lesson and smear a bad reputation to his name in front of Xiao Wu and the whole academy.

Yang Kai didn't notice it, but he had unknowingly started liking Xiao Wu.

To calm his chaotic emotions, Yang Kai decided to stroll around the campus for a while. Unknowingly it was evening. Yang Kai started walking towards the Seventh Dormitory.

As he was about to enter the dormitory he heard a familiar sound. Yang Kai slowly pushed the door to the dormitory open only to see a cute little lolita scolding a bunch of boys.

Yang Kai was astonished to see Xiao Wu's tyrannical behaviour. While he was watching Xiao Wu, she felt someone's gaze on her.

Being a soul beast rebuilt she had extraordinary senses. Just when she was about to scold the boy for looking at her, she stopped as her mouth opened in astonishment.

She saw a familiar handsome looking boy, wearing an elegant robe looking at her.

Xiao Wu ran and embraced Yang Kai suddenly and made a cute expression.

"Brother Yang, what took you so long to come to see your Xiao Wu so late?" Xiao Wu pouted in an angry tone, but to Yang Kai, it looked very cute just like an angry little bunny whose carrot has been snatched.

Yang Kai wrapped his hands around her thin slender waist and let her rest her head on his chest and lovingly replied,

"Don't worry, now that brother is here, brother will never leave our family Xiao Wu and take care of her forever."

Listening to it flower blossomed on Xiao Wu's face. She was very happy listening to Yang Kai's response.

The boys in the dormitory were amazed at seeing Xiao Wu being so lovey-dovey with Yang Kai.

Yang Kai and Xiao Wu didn't care about the surroundings and were lost in their own world of love.

"Cough! Cough!... "

After some time they heard the sound of someone coughing.

Xiao Wu and Yang Kai woke up from their trance. As Xiao Wu looked at the surroundings and saw that she was hugging Yang Kai in front of everyone, she was embarrassed and there was a shade of pink on her face. She now wished she could dig a hole and hide in it.

"Ahem! It's okay, you all return to your beds." Yang Kai told the boys.

Everyone returned to their respective beds.

"Xiao Wu let's go to my bed and talk about the rest of the things there."

Xiao Wu nodded her head in agreement, her face flushed a shade of pink hearing Yang Kai inviting her to his bed. She kept her head low and followed Yang Kai, to avoid eye contact and become less embarrassed.

Yang Kai found that shy and docile looking Xiao Wu was quite cute.
