Chapter 34 :- Friendship

"What am I thinking, he is a stranger!"

Xiao Wu struggled slightly in her heart, thinking about Yang Kai.

"Xiao Wu!" At this moment, seeing Xiao Wu standing beside Tang San, hesitating, Yang Kai determined that the magic of the system had taken effect.

"Sorry, Xiao Wu, looks like I killed the beast that both of you were eyeing for, so to make up for it I'll help you guys hunt for a soul beast. How about that Tang San? " asked Yang Kai while acting embarrassed.

"Thanks, but it's nothing important. Our dean is with us, he'll help us hunt one. " replied Tang San.

"Tang San how about we become friends seeing that we're of same age . Since you are Xiao Wu's friend you are my friend too. " replied yang Kai patting Tang San's shoulder, as if they are old buddies.

"Sure.... " Tang San replied after some hesitation.

Since his childhood Tang San did not have any friends. He was much more mature considering his peers and was busy taking care of his father, who always drowned himself in sadness of boozes.

Practicing the mysterious techniques of Tang Sect and taking care of his father was his daily routine, he did not have time to play around with the childrens of his age. Even in Notting Junior Soul Master Academy,he didn't have any friend except for Xiao Wu.So Tang San thought it was better becoming friend with this Yang Kai.

Xiao Wu saw Tang San and Yang Kai became friends with each other. She was happy and started liking Yang Kai more and more.

Unknown to Xiao Wu, she was already deeply affected by the system's 50% affection towards Yang Kai.So her views on Yang Kai also began changing with time.

Later they all sat together and chated like old friends, while yang Kai made them some roasted spirit beast meats which he took out from his system space.

Tang San and Xiao Wu was astonished by seeing such magical scene. When they asked Yang Kai how he did it, Yang Kai just told it was from his soul guide with some ambiguity. He didn't want to expose the secret of him having system least he draws out those enemies of system.

"Here you go, Xiao Wu. This is specifically made for you." said Yang Kai.

Obviously Xiao Wu would not eat meats ,as she was a rabbit so Yang Kai made her carrot stew from some carrots which he prepared beforehand.

Xiao Wu was sad and her mood was down seeing Yang Kai roasting spirit beasts but as soon as she got carrot stew, her eyes lit up.

Yang Kai understood Xiao Wu was soft hearted and was sentimental towards the soul beasts so to avoid any misunderstanding he explained that they were from Snake typed spirit beasts.

Originally the sad and depressed Xiao Wu felt relieved and happy after listening to Yang Kai's word.

Xiao Wu was a soul beast and their soft boned rabbit family had life and death feuds with the snake soul beasts, because those snake beasts always hunted on their rabbit family.

Xiao Wu became quite cheerful knowing this, and quickly finished her servings and even asked for second and third servings. The overall atmosphere of the feast became cheerful.

Yang Kai and Tang San chated with each other about their childhood and other things while eating roasted meat

From Yang Kai's word Tang San understood that Yang Kai did not have his parents or family and was all by himself .As such he felt sympathy for him. Tang San felt they were fated as all three of them were same without having any parents so their bonds as friends strengthened further.

Now he understood how Yang Kai and Xiao Wu became friends. Tang San felt ashamed for provoking and attacking Yang Kai , so he quickly apologized.

"We're friends now. why apologies? " replied Yang Kai as he sounded friendly.

"Yes we are brothers now.. so I'll not apologize anymore. " replied Tang San.

They chatted for an hour before finishing the meal and started wrapping up their things.

"Brother yang, why are you here on the forest alone? " asked Tang San concerned about Yang Kai's recklessness. Xiao Wu also nodded her head agreeing with Tang San.

"I came here with a hunting team for my spirit ring, but unfortunately I got separated from them. " replied Yang Kai as he made a quick excuse.

Tang San and Xiao Wu didn't doubt his words.

"How about you follow us to our academy brother Yang, it's dangerous to be alone in this forest. " Tang San told Yang Kai.

"Yes brother, you can come with us to our academy" replied Xiao Wu trying to convince Yang Kai.

Seeing Xiao Wu and Tang San concerned and sincerely requesting him to follow them back made his heart warm. But Alas! he had no choice, he is bound to be enemy with Tang San. He wished it had not happened but he can't do anything, so he politely declined their request.

"My teammates are here, we came together so I cannot leave them behind. Don't worry I'll visit you in your academy once I complete my tasks here"

Tang San and Xiao Wu became dejected at his denial.But they soon became happy listening to Yang Kai telling them about visiting them , especially Xiao Wu.

"Okay brother take care of your safety, we'll wait for you at our academy. " Xiao Wu said as she was reluctant to part with Yang Kai.

"Xiao Wu, let's go, nothing will happen to brother Yang,this is just the outer circle of the forest.Dean Su and master will be worried if we don't go and report soon, we're already gone for an hour. " Tang San tried convincing Xiao Wu.

Listening to Tang San's word Xiao Wu's worry ceased. Tang San and others may not be aware of the dangers in the star dou forest but she knew. She was relieved thinking Yang Kai will be in outer perimeter, as such she sighed with relief.

"Brother promise me you will come to visit Xiao Wu after completing your task? " asked Xiao Wu with tears in her eyes.

"Yes Xiao Wu, I'll visit you as soon as possible."

Hearing Yang Kai reassuring her she reluctantly walked away with Tang San, until their backs disappeared in the swarms of trees.

Yang Kai sighed silently, as his mood was complex.

["Why didn't you follow them kid? "] asked the system.

" I've to find some more herbs and spirit beasts to get more prestige points. Come on thanks for your hard work buddy!... Hehe.... "

[You are disrespecting this deity, in my prime I could beat you just by thinking. Who is your buddy?.... Humph... ]

Listening to system pouting angrily Yang Kai felt quite happy.

A system and a human started quarreling in the forest.

After an hour Yang Kai stopped cursing, as he was panting with sweat and dry mouth by non stop swearing with the system.

System don't you think I forgot something, but I can't recall what!?

[Yes host! You forgot to ask the direction of Nuoding city "] the system replied happily showing a sadistic smile.

" Fuck!..... "
