Escape

Max was looking at those people with disdain. Even the play that they did was dog shit. He was hoping for the best, but he had too much things that the others wanted. Greed was the reason for a lot of tragedies. And now was the beginning of another one.

The empress and the rulers ignored his questioning and were getting ready to send their powers to attack the Yin Yang country and take all the blacksmiths and alchemists to themselves. All the rest of the people did not really interest them. They could just die.

Max saw that guards at the grand knight level were walking towards him slowly, blocking any was of escape he could have.

Max sighed and said: "I always wanted to do it, here is my chance."

One of the rulers asked: "Do what? You are done for."

Max smiled and said: "This. SUPERMAN!!"

After saying this he pushed himself and broke through the roof of the castle with a superman pose and tried to fly away. The people in the hall were bewildered. They did not know that mages could do such things.

The empress changed in face and screamed: "KILL HIM!"

All the people stood up and called their powers to chase after Max. The empress also said everyone to gather their forces and go for the Yin Yang empire. Everyone saw that Max was also doing his way towards his kingdom, but their faces became weird a moment after. Max was not stable in flight and from time to time he would crash into a building here and there and then go again up in the sky. They could hear him cursing aloud and people cursing at him as well. People from different countries tried to shoot him down with arrows or magic all the time, but Max was falling down with no reason at all most of the times.

Max himself was screaming like crazy in him mind in the beginning: 'SYSTEM! WHAT THE FUCK?! Why me? I don't know to use this skill well and I'm losing my concentration all the time. They shoot me and I can't concentrate on flying. I could not fly even without outside interference and now its is horrible. Help me somehow. Help of a friend or something. #$T$#F3T!'

After a short time when he crashed into like 6 buildings in around 5 minutes Max was screaming at the world: "!#@E!3DF@!"

He was losing it. His clothes were torn apart. He printed his face in a concrete building the second time and went right through it. Max was scared and angry at the same time. There were arrows and magic spells flying from everywhere. He got hit a couple of times and lost his concentration and crashed in a building, but soon flew up again. He did not have any choice.

People were not letting him go. Max was falling all the time. He could not get the hang of it under all the pressure he was under. He got more wounds from falling then someone really hitting him with an arrow or a spell. There were people from multiple countries that tried to ambush him. He needed to get through a lot of countries in his way and the commanders of the stronger countries had a way to communicate with their leaders. It caused a big army to follow Max from behind and a big amount of people to come after him from different side from different countries. Also, sometimes Max needed to to evade a town or a city that he saw from a far because he was sure people were ready to shoot him down from there. The ability to control the flight skill did not increase by much. Max was falling again and again. His clothes were torn to shreds already and his eyes were bloodshot. He did not really cared anymore. When he saw people that tried to ambush him he tried to shoot them down to death with pyroblasts to death before they could shoot at him. Sometimes he succeeded, but still fell down because he could not control two spells of such level at the same time and sometimes he got shot down even before he could really shoot the people because of problems with his magic control or a spell or an arrow that he got to his face.

That's what happened in the next three weeks. Max was flying faster, but falling a lot more. He did get a little of time to sleep each day because all humans needed sleep in the end of the day, but because he was hunted by every living person around it was hard to hide for long periods of time. Max was accumulating more and more damage on his body from fatigue and from wounds. It affected his to some extent and he began to miss some of the attacks that made the situation even worse than it was before. Soon Max began to see places that indicated that he was not far from the Yin Yang country. He saw the river he fought, the mountain he flattened and more. When Max saw the walls of the city of Manchester from afar he was very happy, but then he understood that he was losing control again. The city was already ringing the alarm bells and were getting ready for battle, but when they saw Max they did not really know what to say. They did not attack, but when Max crashed into the city walls, went through them and crashed on the ground, everyone became silent. No one really understood what was going on. Max was happy to be "home". People could not harm him here and would fight until the end for him. Some because they just loved him and what he represented and some because of the oath they made.

Max screamed in almost non human way: "GET READY FOR BATTLE!"

The two leaders of the city in terms of the army that were a fire mage and a grand knight did not wait and screamed the same thing to the soldiers. Their faces were grim because they saw the situation of their leader and the army that was showing on the horizon. It was not an army of ten or twenty thousand people. It was more in the hundreds...
