After Max got to the level of knight apprentice he got a few options to study different skills. One way for a payment and the other was for free. The option with the payment will transfer the information of the skill to the user and he will need to train his body and mind to make the moves he already have in his head and the other option for broke people like Max that showed the movement of the knight life energy through the meridians in the body of a bot and the user just needed to make the same movement and do it correctly. The life energy will glow in a bright light and it will be easy to see how to manipulate the life energy in the right way. Of course it will take a lot more time then the first option that could use the help of the bot too. There were a lot of knight skills that overwhelmed Max.
"What the hell. Is it all the skills of this world? System can you show the most basic skills I need to learn?" Max said.
"Alright. Keep in mind that you will use those skills even when you reach higher levels. They are valid for every rank." The system replied.
Soon only 5 skills glowed in a bright light and flew closer to Max.
The skills were:
-Swordsmanship(passive).
-Shield Strike.
-Guard.
-Hilt Smash.
-Slash From Below.
Swordplay or Swordsmanship was a self explanatory skill. It was a set of sword skills that got into Max head. He just needed to practice them until he will get them as a reflex.
Shield strike was an defensive move that not only can defend the user from an enemy but it also can hit and stun the opponent.
Guard is a skill that concentrate the life force of the knight on the shield to defend against a strong attack.
Hilt Smash in an unexpected move the can be launched against a foe after a defensive move if you don't want to kill the enemy. You hit the enemy with the hilt of the sword.
Slash From Below is a skill that is used after a defensive move to hack the enemy in two with a slash from below the shield. Its a move that is hard to see and it can be devastating.
Max saw that he got a lot of work to do. After that he started a routine of training. He did the breathing technique few hours a day. He asked the system for a sword and a shield and the system gave him thousands of options. After that he asked the system for the weapons the suited him the best. The system gave him a simple looking sword and shield. They were just perfect for him.
After he got his weapons he started to train. He made different slash moves with the sword and some defensive moves with his shield. They were part of the swordplay skill. After that he started training his other skills. Years passed. After Max got the moves right he started to spar with bots in the same level of power as him in terms of knight apprentice rank. After three years of training he thought that the moves were just right and he also was a level two knight apprentice. After confirming with the system that he could die unlimited amount of times he thought that he could get to at least level five bot from the ten levels of difficulty but he was so wrong. He got stuck on the first level for a couple of months. The bot had the same set of skills but Max got destroyed time and time again. The bot of the first level still did combos from the skills Max knew in a much more fluid way and because of that Max lost and died in horrible ways. That was the time he will sure want to forget. The problem was that it was not fun getting killed. Getting your arm or leg cut off after a mistake or get pierced by a sword because of a shield misplacement or because of a wrong reaction to the skill shield strike from the opponent. This regime continued for five more years. After all this time Max could only win the level two bot consistently. It was pretty bad. It was level two out of ten. Max was a noob for sure. He got the third level knight apprentice at this time. He felt that he needed to progress and get to choose the skills of the other two classes. He knew that the breathing technique will not change for the other two classes because they were both sub classes of a warrior. Max chose the assassin class. He asked the system give him weapons and also the best basic skills for the class. The system gave Max two daggers. Also few skills flew towards max from the assassin class.
-Shadow Step.
-Stealth.
-Back Stab.
-Blade Spin.
-Dagger Throw.
Shadow step is a movement skill that make the player almost invisible and very hard to catch. When you use this skill you teleport for a small distance. This skill use a lot of stamina so it cant be spammed but still it can be used a few times during a fight. Also when the assassin will get to a higher level of an apprentice knight he could use this skill a lot more times.
Stealth is a self explanatory skill. The user becomes invisible for a few seconds but it don't nullify the sounds the player makes while moving. The invisibility is removed when the user attacks or defends.
Back stab is a skill that causes the user to make a very fast dash to the back of the opponent and hit him with the dagger in the back of the opponent's head. It should be a lethal blow.
Blade spin is an attack that make a fast spin with the daggers and cut the opponent. The attack is pointed towards the neck area most of the time.
Dagger throw is a self explanatory skill. The user learn how to throw a dagger accurately.
There are a lot of other different assassin moves that exist but Max did not have the time for now to study them. After he received those skills he began to learn them. He did pretty much the same things like before. He trained in the breathing technique the same amount of time like always. The second part of the day was allocated to PvP(Player versus Player) fights with bots only with knight skills. The third part was dedicated to study the assassin skills. Max knew those skills had a very good potential for his growth in power and the ability to attack and defend. He even asked the system if there is a chance to make this class unavailable for the costumers and the system answered that the decision making for all the functionality of the gaming club is on Max and he can block the study of different classes or skills. Max did not want people to dash, kill people and go invisible afterwards. He was pretty sure that those stuff were uncommon here. He continued training in the same regime for a few more years. He did not see that the end of this simulation training any time soon. Not even 50 years has passed and he felt that he was here forever.
