The passing cool breaze, the shiny moonlight and the pink leaves of the blossom tree almost created a fantasy atmosphere which left a confusion between dream or reality in Abaddon's mind, especially when he wasn't in a stable condition.
The shiny platinum blonde hair, the golden masquerade mask, and the angel wings design on the backside of the hoodie… all gave him one answer to his question about the person who was standing in front of him in his room, 'An Angel'. In a daze, Abaddon walked toward the mysterious person.
However, Eric noticed something was off with Abaddon, he is stumbling on his way like a drunken man.
Not only that his face was more swollen and reddish than before, but the white shirt he wore was also covered in sweat, bloodstains, and dirt. His bloodshot eyes were about to lose consciousness, but he was resisting for some reason.
"Are you an Aaaannngggeellll…" Without completing the question, Abaddon dropped down while losing his balance.
Luckily, Eric catches him in time before he hits the floor. Laying on Eric's hand, Abaddon passionately looked at him without blinking an eye and slowly, his naughty hands went to grab Eric's hair in some weird thoughts.
"Aaa… Let go, Let go of my hair…you crazy moron." Pushing him to the side in a rush, Eric somehow protects his head from going bald.
"I want more…" Counting the few hairs that got on his hands, Abaddon turned his sparkling gaze towards Eric's platinum blonde hair.
"Don't even think about it…" Warning him, Eric quickly went to lock the door from the inside. Carefully looking at his hair in the mirror placed on the wall, he continued in an irritating way. "Are you crazy, who would pluck someone's hair like this? I have almost gone bald because of you…"
'B-blood! Where it comes from…My hand... it doesn't hurt anywhere, then…' Seeing blood on his hands, Eric couldn't understand where it come from. He didn't have any wounds on his hands, then from where does it come from. Anxiously looking for its source, Eric's view ends up in Abaddon, the person he got in contact with a little earlier. As he suspects, Abaddon's shirt color was changing into blood red.
"Are you hurt somewhere? Let me see…" In a panicked way, Eric tries to look at the wound on Abaddon's body, but he resists to showing it.
"Why are you so stubborn? It's for your own good…Damn!" Ending up getting angry at Abaddon, Eric furiously spoke.
"…" However, Abaddon kept silent and refused to take off his shirt.
"Ok fine, bleed and die…I'm leaving…" In a completely pissed-off manner, Eric went to leave through the window.
"Don't leave…. Abaddon hates being alone…" Suddenly grabbing Eric's clothes, Abaddon said while showing his weak spot. Tears were dripping down from his face; Eric couldn't understand what to do with him.
"I will only stay if you let me check your wound. Is it Ok for you?" Forwarding a condition, Eric left the decision in Abaddon's hands.
"Abaddon is dirty…You will hate me too, if you saw it…"
"I really don't understand your logic at all… Anyway, I won't hate anyone just because they are dirty, OK? So, let me check your wound… Will you take off your shirt now?" Wiping his tears, Eric tries to ensure him.
"Really?"
"Yeah!"
Finally, Abaddon was willing to take off the shirt. His upper body was covered in wounds, scars and bluish marks. The blood coming out from the two-three cuts appeared on the chest to the stomach area. It wasn't deep, but tiny pieces of glass were still left on the wound here and there.
"We should clean the wound first before applying some medicine. Is there any first aid KIT here?" Without digging into the incident, Eric focused on treating the wounds.
"Aren't you curious, about how I got hurt?" While Eric applied ointment on him, Abaddon curiously asked when Eric didn't ask anything about how he got these wounds.
"If I ask, will you genuinely answer?" Taking the silence that comes from Abaddon as a NO, Eric continued. "You won't, then why should I waste my time… But when you are asking, I'm curious about something else…"
"What?"
"Did you ever hit back that person who hurt you, at least once?"
"NO…"
"Why?"
"B-because, it will only worsen the situation…" Thinking hardly, Abaddon continued while tightly clenching his hands. "I want to live a peaceful life without entangling with those guys… if I endured a little more everything will be going to be fine… Just a little more…"
"Are you sure?
Silence and endurance aren't the good ways to deal with violence… it only encourages the bullies to bully the victim more." Knowing the aftereffects of the damn silence and endurance that Abaddon shown in the novel, Eric spoke out his mind.
Anyway, it wasn't utterly sympathy that showed up towards a weak person. He just trying to awaken the villain a little earlier than the original. If Abaddon's destiny is to be a villain, no one can change it, especially with his circumstance. So, rooting for the villain wasn't a better idea?
"But… what if they kill me?" In a frightening voice, Abaddon asks.
"Then just die, isn't it better than living a hellish life every day? So before that day comes, just live a life the way you want without much regrets." Confusing his mind, Eric concludes his word.
"Huh…Why are you saying such cruel words?" Lightly hitting Eric's hands, Abaddon said.
"I didn't say anything wrong…Nothing will change in our life until we change ourselves… Isn't it better to fight for yourself rather than lose everything you have today for an unknown future... Hush, to whom am I talking?"
In the middle of the talk, Abaddon fell asleep. Covering him with the bedsheet, Eric sneakily went out while leaving a chocolate for him to remember the angel who he met.
With the help of the ladder, he successfully comes outside but never expects to meet Aiden.
Aiden was waiting for his young master as he said but unfortunately guarding the outside, he fell asleep while leaning on the wall.
"Aiden…" In a low voice, Eric tries to wake him.
"Young master, why are you in my room? Let me sleep a bit more..." Hearing Eric's voice, Aiden responds in sleep. Anyway, that day Aiden gets a bridal carry by Eric back to their way home.
