For some time now, the Sinaloa cartel had been collapsing. In fact, it was one of the reasons why the violence and chaos in Mexico had escalated. After all, the Sinaloa cartel was the largest cartel, but with its leaders ending up behind bars, or worse, it had slowly begun to collapse.

Every one of its rival was now fighting for a piece of the pie. And while the Zetas and Jalisco were particularly well known for their violence, both against cartels, the government, and civilians. The Sinaloa were known as the "good guys" insofar as they tried their best not to get people who were not about that life involved in their violence.
