Chapter 451

"I will go get changed!" Feifei said as soon as they returned to Gaia, and Rouxi followed her friend back to their house.

Everyone excused themselves to their rooms to freshen up and get ready, and when Keith arrived in the drawing room an hour later, all the girls were already present there, except for Feifei, Rouxi, and Qingyue, who were not on the estate.

"Qin Feng got married today," Rebecca said as she watched him take his seat between the twins, who happily cuddled with him, and he nodded to her. "Is the girl special?" She asked.

"No." He shook his head with a smile.

"Yue told me that she is Feifei and Rouxi's classmate and that they don't get along well with each other." She smiled and then Keith proceeded to tell her what the Inheritor of Hades had been up to since last year.

"He's been minding his business lately." He smiled.

Rebecca smiled as well, knowing well that Keith would not let him live for long even if he kept minding his own business. However, with everyone around, she did not point it out.

"It's impressive he's been able to keep his mind after all that he has been through."

"It is." He agreed.

"I am 27-398 against Amelia now." She happily informed him. "And I have won the last three games."

"She's better than you." Amelia teasingly remarked, much to Rebecca's glee, but Keith just shrugged at those words.

"It's fine. I will catch up." He off-handedly said and then laughed at the video message that he had just received from Kiara. "You couldn't keep quiet about it for even an hour." He looked at his blonde wife, who was grinning at him.

"Why should I?" She asked, and everyone could tell that she was extremely happy that she passed the test.

Keith promised that he would teach her the Battle Art tomorrow, and she was brimming with excitement now.

After a gruelling session of six hours, where Keith left their bodies aching all over, Rebecca was still up on her feet, and she continued fighting with him for another hour.

And no, Keith did not go easy on any one of them. It was the most brutal training session to date.

"So, have you decided what weapon you want to use?" Keith suddenly asked the twins, who immediately nodded their heads.

"We want you to teach us how to use the Stick," Amira told him.

"You have been spending time with Celine?" He chuckled and they both nodded their heads again.

"She looks very cool with it!" Reina then proceeded to inform him about the time they spent in Griffin City and when Celine had come to visit them.

The girls finished their High School and arrived at the Manor in Sameran after spending a few months with their parents.

Rebecca had also formally started their Medical Education, where she would spend a few hours every day teaching Medicine to them.

Amelia had also been teaching everyone how to use and create some basic Runes, and all of them spent most of their time in their studies.

Keith smiled when Amelia praised Nana over how hard she was working, and his lover blushed a little when their eyes met.

Zoey too had been learning about Runes, but she was yet to finish the book on Forging and Smithing that he had given to her before he left for Iceland. And it was going to take her a few more months to read all of it.

"Ayesha, how's your progress with the Common Tongue?" Reina suddenly asked, and the Kurdish girl smiled at her.

"I think I have mastered it." She spoke in the Common Tongue of Ashaya that was spoken in the Lower Heavens, and both the twins looked at her in dismay.

"So soon?" Amira sighed and dejectedly continued, "We can only understand some basic words, but we still can't speak them."

"Nana has mastered it as well," Amelia informed them, and Zoey, Helena, Amira, and Reina, all looked at the girl in surprise.

The progress in Cultivation that Ayesha and Nana had made over the past months was alarming, to say the least.

They were already in the Earth Refinement Stage of Primal Desolation, and before the start of this year, they were both in the Great Profound Realm.

All of them knew that as much as their progress was because of their hard work, it was still mostly thanks to whatever Keith did to them. And it was not just their Cultivation. Their perception and their ability to comprehend things had become incredibly sharp as well.

So, when Zoey pouted at him accusingly, he just chuckled at her reaction.

"How's your life, young Miss?" Keith smiled at the Mourntale who was busy sipping on her smoothie.

"I like it!" She gave him the purest of the smiles.

"Amelia has not been harsh on you, has she?" He teasingly asked and got a reaction out of everyone which amused him a lot.

They all rolled their eyes, and Helena pouted at him.

"She's always kind to me. Can't say the same for you." She grumbled.

"I thought you wanted to grow stronger." He smiled.

"Stop pulling her leg." Amelia cut in, knowing well that Keith intended to tease the young girl, and he laughed when she showed her protective side.

She truly cared about her little cousin whom she considered her sister, and she was focusing a lot on raising her and helping her grow stronger.

The family kept chatting with each other for several more minutes until Keith heard Iseul call out to him.

He excused himself from the room and curiously looked at his Iris, who was standing outside the door and started telling him about what was happening in the city.

"The envoys of the Qin Family met with Qin Feng in the evening, and as per the information, the one leading the Dragon Soul's group belongs to the Qin Family as well...."

The Child of Destiny had agreed to become part of the Dragon Soul.

Keith was no longer surprised at the progression of things and he knew that the Destiny was likely preparing to compensate for the losses that Qin Feng would bear in the coming times.

"Lady Rouxi and Feifei have gone to the Old District, and Lady Qingyue is with them. A riot broke out in the afternoon when the news was made public that the Matron of the Orphanage had reached an agreement with Qin Group. The local underworld forces are behind it. And Master, five S-Grade assassins from Black Rose have entered the country. Their targets are Hades and Lady Feifei."

Keith raised his brow at her words.

"Who's the Client?"

"There are three Contracts. Hades' forces are betraying him. The first contract came from one of his generals, Count Aurelio. His Vampire Faction does not want to stay under his command. The second Contract has come from Jiang Hu. I believe it is a result of resentment that has built up in his heart after losing everyone dear to him. And the third Contract has come from Nergal's last remaining Warlord, Khalid. He wants Hades dead and has also submitted a request to retrieve his old Master's Pendant a few weeks ago." She meaningfully said her last words. "Lady Feifei was wearing the Pendant when she attended a press conference with Lady Rouxi last week."

"I see." Keith frowned at all the information and then sensed a series of cars arriving at the gate of the Estate. "The guests are here." He said, and a few seconds later, both Rebecca and Amelia came out of the room, ready to receive the members of the Wei Family together with him.

"Where are Rouxi and Fefei?" Amy curiously asked, and Iseul told them where the girls were right now.

"Is Damien Eisenhardt among the assassins who have entered the country?" Keith asked the System in his mind.

{No. Host. The Child of Destiny, Damien Eisenhardt, is in Hungary right now.}

"Master." His Iris called out to him, waiting for his command.

"Stay here. Keep an eye on everything that is happening."

"Yes."

After Iseul left, Keith walked out of the Manor with his two wives.

"I highly doubt that they would harm Feifei. They must know she is with you." The blonde lightly said, having heard the conversation he had with Iseul, and her words surprised her sister-wife.

"They will just look for an opportunity to steal the Pendant." He nodded to her.

"What's going on?" Amelia asked.

"Five assassins from the world's best Assassin Organisation are in China right now. They are after Qin Feng's life, and they want to steal the Yellow Emperor's Pendant that Feifei has." Rebecca told her.

"How strong are those Assassins?"

"You only become an S-Grade Assassin after you have reached the peak of True-Profound Realm," Rebecca told her. "But an Assassin isn't supposed to use force to complete their tasks. They spend their entire lives mastering discrete methods of killing. And I am sure they are likely going to use one such method to try and take out Qin Feng."

"Yes." Keith nodded to her words.

He had just asked the System for the details on the Assassins, and one of them was a girl the Destiny Planned on making Qin Feng's lover.

There was another girl in the Dragon Soul, who had met him today, and together, all these girls would help heal his heart, but that was all there was to it.

They were nothing special.
