In a deep black darkness, a soul is floating without a care in the space he lived in. He woke up and opened his eyes and all he can see was a vast area of darkness.
"What happened? Where am I? The last thing I remembered was dying peacefully and lying down after finishing my last masterpiece."
I swam and swam but there's nothing at all. Its like a vast space that you can roam and feel like you're just in the same place, not moving at all.
Time passed and he was just there trying to pass his time with anything he can do, roll around, make a one man skit, make himself laugh with his own jokes, and ponder of the things he did in life. He was an orphan since his parents died in an accident when he was just 10 years old, being the heir of the wealth of his parents many tried to take it away from him but he didn't give it, making them bully the little child.
He was forced to mature early and had no one to trust except for his mother's little sister. She took him in and take good care of him, he knows as well that his aunt has no motives in helping him, just genuine care. She also didn't need the inheritance when he asked her if she wants to take it as she said she has enough source of income and is wealthy herself.
He learned that she was a widow as her husband was killed due to the schemes of his other uncle and aunt as her husband is disturbing the big pie that they are getting. Finding solace in her elder sister's son she took him in as her own son and raised him to be a fine man.
He decided to pick up arts and painting as his main craft, being obsessed in learning arts, he used his parent's inheritance and the income from their shares in the company.
He learned from the very best school focused in Arts and Painting and from the best teachers in the hopes of creating an art that will make the world in awe like the legendary painters.
He created many paintings and gained money from selling them to auctions and decided to have his revenge on his own family who will kill their own just for the sake of money. He funded his long-time friend in creating a company that can face his own family's company.
With his funding and very good innovations, the company grew larger and larger and his family's company was always making failed investments but he was not satisfied by it, he want them to face the consequences of all their actions.
He hired a professional hacker and investigator to gain dirt on his family members except the one who took him in who, apparently died early due to an illness that wasn't detected early. On her deathbed she was smiling peacefully and she wished that she gets to meet her husband again.
Back to digging dirt on his family members, he let them dig dirt on them and when he got all the compiled files, he sent copies of it to major tv stations which caused them to be arrested and will be judged in the court.
Time passed by and now he was an old man, in his deep quest for revenge, he forgot about his goal of creating an art that will shock and awe the world and be shown to younger generations, he deeply regretted that he can't make it anymore because of old age. And for the last time, he grabbed his brush and decided to create his last masterpiece.
Time passed by but he didn't bother stopping, not even eat as he was concentrating on creating his final masterpiece. In the end he made it, his own masterpiece. It may not have shocked the world and caused it to look at it in awe and envy but to him, it was enough. It was a fine masterpiece for him and himself alone.
What he painted was a picture of himself as a child with his parents alongside his aunt who took care of him and her husband. He thought of a name for the painting and wrote it in a piece of paper and stick it at the back of his painting alongside his signature as he wrote it in habit. He marveled at it once again and laid himself down to rest. The paper for some reason fell down from the painting with the word.
