"They have seen you, they will report your location to the other princes." Michal warned Nicholas as they stood outside of the house waiting for everyone to gather.

"I know." Nicholas told him, seemingly unbothered by what Michal had pointed out.

"Are they still unconscious?" Nicholas asked as Connor passed him.

Connor was the last to leave the house and to check on everyone. He made sure the doors were closed and the men were well bound.

"Yes, your highness." Connor said with a small bow.

"How powerful is your magic?" Nicholas asked as he led his horse away, making Michal walk faster after him.

"In what regard, your highness?" Michal asked.

"Nicholas, just Nicholas out here. It's a danger if people realize who I am." Nicholas told Michal.

"Nicholas." Michal nodded.

"Animals, how well, how far, and how long can you control them?" Nicholas' question seemed quite odd to Michal, but he decided to humor the prince.
