She couldn’t help but regret not listening to her father’s words and ran away from her home. For what? A Love Story

"Are you dreaming of me?" I was startled when I heard his voice next to my ear.

I hurriedly stepped out of the car and looked at the place we came to.

It was a small town with nothing fancy. Small and cozy houses with a small garden ahead of it surrounded by white fences. A perfect dream house for every Middle east lady.

What made this small town pleasing to the eyes was the decoration. Houses were decorated like a newlywed bride and not only the houses, even the streets were twinking with fairy lights and lamps making it like Christmas eve.

"Christmas comes early," Words passed my lips, sounded more like a statement than a question.

I got an explanation though, "This town has a tradition of celebrating the memory of their first king and his wife who was a deity."

I glanced at Acera as a curious kid waiting for the best part of the story only to be realized that the storyteller decided to skip that part.
