Chapter 27 - Nightmare dungeon ( Part 1 )

{Location = Rank 6 Nightmare Dungeon, Green level difficulty}

{MC POV}

"Darling good luck, Go and clear the dungeon." said mom then kissed me on the forehead and disappeared.

Instead of directly entering the dungeon.

I decided to do some preparations.

First i cast [ "Gale Shoes"] Spell which increased my speed by 100 points.

Then I held my sword tightly and heightened my senses to the highest because Mia told me that Spectre is good at hiding their presence.

Then I finally entered the dungeon.

The inside of the dungeon was a massive stone cave system with various carved block like structures coming out of the walls and there were giant pillars between the ground and the ceiling.

There were fungi growing over walls and the ceiling. There were some small crystals on the ceiling. Shedding a dim light across the entire dungeon. This type of lighting was perfect for monsters like Spectres who can hide their presence.

There was a stone path in front of me. After walking on the path for few minutes. I finally came to a stop and found the first room.

There was a door in front of me. I stepped inside the room.

Inside was full darkness but since I am a Vampire so I have Night Vision so I could see everything in the room. I saw that there were Lighting crystals in the room, but they were sliced in the middle by some sharp object.

I noticed the presence of enemy through Mana Sense but I could not see any enemy in the room.

So I waited and heightened my senses and reflexes so that I can react to any unexpected attack.

After few seconds my ["Danger sense"] passive skill alerted me from my behind.

I immediately turned and used [Meteor Splitting sword strike] to slice the Spectre in half.

Spectres are actually very weak to magic spells.

They have very high speed.

They were easy to kill however the most dangerous thing about them is their ability to hide their presence. If I didn't have good reflexes and ["Danger Sense"] skill then I will die without even knowing who killed me.

In the Second Room. Ray was confronted by an Ogre easily twice of his height and was wielding a giant iron studded wooden club.

The Ogre screamed as it swung its club down on top of my head.

I dodged to the side of the club while simultaneously drawing my sword and performed ["Meteor Splitting Sword Strike"].

The club smashed onto the stone ground with a large collision, blowing dust everywhere. There was a 'Thud' Sound. When the dust settled Ray was able to see the ogre sliced into two parts.

Ogres are known for their high defense l and brute strength. Getting hit by an Ogre fist would at least cause heavy damage and Club could turn people into a meat paste. But their speed is slow and this became his downfall.

I then entered the Third room and this time there were 3 spectres. I could not see them but I could sense their presence. This time I decided to use magic spell because it's their weakness.

So I killed the spectres using the combination of ["Hailstorm"] and ["Inferno"] spell.

The ice shards from the ["Hailstorm"] spell damaged their bodies and to finish them I used ["Inferno"] spell.

They dropped 3 mana cores. And Spectre claws. Hmm they will provide me lot of coins from guild.

Then i heard some Sounds of battle and cry of ogres from the next room.

The sound of battle seems to be getting closer as I moved towards the door of the next room.

When I entered the Fourth Room. I saw some ogres lying burned and dead on the ground. I also noticed four people's presence in the room but I could only see one girl in the room.

Meaning there are three spectres hiding in the room and waiting for their chance to attack.

I saw one of the spectre attacking the girl and the girl also noticed the spectre presence, but her reaction time was slow, so she will get herself killed like this. I was waiting to see the reaction of the girl. What kind of spell or skill will she use to save her life?

But then I noticed the Red haired girl closing her eyes and she was prepared for her death because a spectre attacked her.

I was dumbfounded for a second because I was hoping that something cool will happen.

Next moment I composed myself and used ["Blink"] spell to teleport directly in front of the girl and then I sliced the spectre into two parts using ["Meteor Splitting Sword Strike"].

Then Red haired girl opened her eyes when she felt that she is not dead and is still alive.

There she saw a man wearing Assassin type clothing and mask. He sliced the spectre which attacked her into two pieces.

The man then used ["Gale Shoes"] spell and moved towards other remaining spectre monsters and killed them as well with his sword.

The man looked towards the Red haired girl. She was beautiful, but there was nothing else special in her. So after taking a good look at her for a second the man completely ignored her presence and starting moving towards Boss Room.

{Red Haired Girl POV}

Seeing the man ignoring her, the beauty became dumbfounded.

Huh? He ignored me? I am Elora Carmine. The Daughter of Dragon God and Princess of Dragon Kingdom.

There are thousands of people who wants to marry me, praise me and yet here this man ignored me. How dare he!!!

" Hey You!" I said to him, but he ignored me and kept moving.

" I am Dragon Princess dammit. Give me some respect" I said.

This time he stopped. I thought that now he will ask for forgiveness and then treat me with the respect which I deserve.

But his next words made me dumbfounded.

"You are the Dragon princess. So what?

In fact I thought Dragon races are good people and are strong. Sure they have some issue related to pride, but that's it.

And see you here. You are only bringing shame to them. When spectre attacked you. You simply closed your eyes and prepared for your death. As a dragon you should at least try to resist till your last breath. You will get revived anyway.

When you don't have enough strength then why you entered this dungeon and When someone else saved your life instead of thanking him, you are now shouting at him and showing your haughtiness, asking for respect. Listen here you stupid girl. This is a Cultivation World. You will have to earn your respect by showing your Strength. Now Shut Up and don't bother me." replied Ray in neutral tone. It's not that he is angry with her or anything. He is extremely disappointed. Also, It's just that she is not close to him, so he is now showing her his Poker face and Cold personality which he created as a facade. He is wary of her because she is only a stranger to him.

Then Ray ignored her and started casting ["Hell's Fist"] Rank 5 spell. It took him ten seconds to gather the sufficient mana to complete the spell then he entered the Boss room.

The Dragon Princess Elora Carmine after his words didn't speak anything and remained silent. She simply followed behind him. She was curiously looking towards his hands on which huge amount of fire was concentrated. Not only that, but she was getting chills seeing that spell.

She also has fire affinity, and she has comprehended Fire element to 50%, so she knows that the spell has high destructive power.
