Chapter 19 - Date ( Part 1 )

{MC POV}

" Mom let's have some fun, look around the city, buy some things and spend time together" I said

" Oh is my son inviting his mom to a date" said Mom

My face turned red hearing her words but I nodded since I decided to move forward in our relationship.

Seeing me nodding to her words Rose was surprised for a second, but then a gentle smile appeared on her face.

While we were walking, I grabbed her hand and interlocked my fingers with hers. She also smiled and pressed my hand lightly.

First I took her to female clothing shop. When we entered, the attendant greeted us" Sir welcome to our shop. What kind of clothes you want to buy for the beautiful lady accompanying you."

" Show me all the best clothes you have in shop. Don't worry about the price. It doesn't matter how expensive they are." I said

Hearing my words. The attendant became happy that she can sell expensive clothes and make big profit.

She brought many types of clothes. My mom went and tried all of them one by one.

" Like what you see baby" Teased mom with a cheeky smile on her face. She was wearing some clothes which exposed most of her body and increased her sex appeal more.

" Yeah you look so beautiful and sexy" I subconsciously muttered. But then I realized what I had said and I blushed and looked towards her face.

She was covering her mouth with one of hands and was giggling. I mean which woman would not like getting praised for her beauty.

" I will buy all these clothes. Pack them and tell me the price" i said to the attendant.

She took me to the shop counter. She calculated the price and I paid everything with my own money which I collected through Adventuring.

Then I took my mom to a place where lot of people were gathered. Because a singer and musician were performing.

I also bought some snacks, and we enjoyed their performance. Then we visited some other stores and enjoyed our peaceful atmosphere.

On the street that was slightly distanced from the downtown main street, in the fast-food restaurant that was facing the street, at the window-side seat on that restaurant's second floor, the figures of three young men who seemed to be low ranked adventurers could be seen slacking up listlessly on the chair, as though to say that they had too much free time to spare.

"Aa"

While scowling at the juice which had become thin due to the melting ice, one of the low ranked adventurer released a strange groan. Hearing that, the remaining two adventurers directed an annoyed gaze and an understanding gaze at the first adventurer.

" I know that we got nothing to do, but don't make that kind of voice. It's embarrassing" said one adventurer

"You are saying something like that huh. On this precious holiday, three men are jabbering like this. Haah, On top of having nothing to do, this is just empty" said the other adventurer in bitter tone.

"Don't say that. That will just make you feel emptier" said the first.

These three who had been friends since their time in the village. They thought of becoming strong adventurer and were Harboring a faint hope that if they advanced to high rank then it would be an exciting springtime of their lives that didn't exist in their life till now ....

That something would happen. Girls will flock around them and go on dates with them. All three adventurers thought that they will lose their virginity and taste the forbidden fruit.

But reality is cruel and there wasn't really anything particular that happened, and they were spending normal days that held no difference from their days in the village.

One of the male adventurer for some reason turned his gaze outside the window, and then he noticed Ray and Rose enjoying their date like a couple and raised his voice. The other two got curious and moved their gazes to follow his, and there, they saw a Handsome man and beautiful women going on a date.

"Oi, just from where those kinds of men come." said first adventurer

"Yeah why only that bastard got handsome face and fit body" said other adventurer.

" Just go explode you fuckin bastard. Aah, God! why not us" said last adventurer and gritted his teeth and started crying.

Hearing his words other two adventurers also started crying tears of blood.

The three adventurers clung on the window glass, were staring at Ray who was walking around hand in hand with an extremely beautiful lady. Seeing it from the viewpoint of the people inside the restaurant, the figures of those three were like Lizards that were clinging to a window, it was a relatively strange sight. It almost caused the 0 coin smile of the restaurant waitress to crumble. (Business smile which waitress shows to every customer in the restaurant).

Situations like these were happening among all single men and they were cursing Ray and were gritting their teeth because of jealousy, Crying tears of blood and leaking murderous intent.

So today was the day when Ray became one of the most hated person of the city in just one day.

Anyway our main character Ray was just ignoring everyone's presence, and he was focused only on his date with his mom. But Ray was also wondering why he was sensing killing intent from everywhere and his ["Danger sense"] Skill was constantly activating. Such a strange situation indeed.

After listening to the music performance. Ray and Rose started walking randomly. They were simply enjoying each other's presence. After an hour they arrived at a location called Fairy Lake.

Fairy Lake was an artificial lake which was build using Tree, water and earth magic.

Fairy Lake was a famous spot in Central city, many people also often came to Fairy Lake especially with their family.

The lake was big and had a fountain in the middle of it. There were also trees around the lake with several wooden benches underneath.

And on Fairy Lake, there were many street vendors, so if visitors were hungry or thirsty, they could just buy food or drinks at the street vendors. There were also some beautiful boats and a water track where couples can ride boats and enjoy their time.

Even though Ray wanted to ride a beautiful boat with his mom, but he wanted to enjoy the scenery around the lake first. That was why he took Rose to the wooden bench and sat on it.

"Oh! Many couples are riding the boat." Rose who was sitting on Ray's left side, said.

"Mom you want to ride a boat?" even though Ray planned to ride it later, but if his mom wanted to immediately ride a boat, then he would follow her wish.

"Let's do that later." Just like Ray, Rose also wanted to enjoy the scenery around the lake first before riding a boat. She enjoyed how her son was trying to act like couple and becoming lovey-dovey. She held his left hand and placed her head on his shoulders.

Ray face broke into a soft smile. He was pleased by her action and immediately squeezed her hands tighter.

They remained in the same position without saying a single word for about ten minutes. Then they entered a boat. This time when Ray sat on it. Instead of sitting on his sides, Rose sat directly on her son's lap. Ray also hugged her mom and wrapped his arms around her waist. Then they enjoyed the boat ride around the water track.
