Chapter 18 - Rank 4 dungeon And Breaking Through Ranks

{Location = Rank 4 Lightning wolves Dungeon, Red difficulty}

I entered the dungeon. Inside there was an open area, grassy fields. Sky was covered with clouds and occasionally sound of thunder will reach my ears.

There was a portal in front of me so I directly stepped inside. It teleported me to the entrance of a Floating Castle. I opened castle doors and entered Room 1.

Inside there were 2 Dark blue wolves. They immediately rushed towards me. They were extremely fast but still I was able to easily see them, so I used ["Gale Steps"] Spell then I directly rushed towards them and sliced them into two parts using ["Meteor Splitting sword strike"].

The next room was the same, having 5 wolves. I noticed that wolves have high speed, but their magical defense is weak so I used Rank 1 [ "Flame Missile"] Spell.

Wolves jumped and managed to dodge my missile trajectory but I controlled the elements and made the missile change direction. Since the wolves were still in the air, they couldn't do anything and watch as my spell penetrated their brain. In the end, all wolf got hit by my spell, and it made a hole through their brains.

In the next room. There were 10 wolves. I used my ["Flame Blast" ] Spell, but this spell was far slower than compared to ["Flame Missile"] that's why all wolves dodged my spell

So then I killed the wolves the same way I did in previous room. That is using ["Flame missile"] spell and then changing the direction of spell once wolves dodged my spell. They dropped mana cores and their claws.

(These wolves are weak or maybe I am too strong.) I thought.

In the next room there were 15 Wolves. Since there were a large number of wolves so to distract them I summoned ["Wind elemental fenrir"] . As soon as he was summoned, all wolves changed their target and attacked him and taking advantage of that moment I spammed ["Flame Blast"] spell at their location.

After a huge blast. I saw that the floor had a big crater and different parts of wolves were lying here and there. It was a gruesome sight.

They again dropped mana cores.

Then came the final Boss Room. When I stepped inside, there was a wolf almost twice the size. His skin was Black in color. He had Big horn in the middle of his forehead. And Also he was covered in Lightning Element. Because of the lightning element, His speed was so fast. His presence was intimidating.

Before I could even check his stats, his figure blurred, and then he was directly in front of me, and he struck me on the stomach.

I was launched directly towards the castle walls, my breath got stuck in my throat but a second later ["Danger Sense"] skill alerted me so I jumped away from my location. And as soon as I jumped away The wolf crashed at my location. Now I started spamming Flame Missile spell and Flame Blast spell towards the Black wolf when he was hit with a rebound and crashed on the wall, but he dodged all of them again.

His speed was too fast. I was at Peak 4.

This black wolf was also peak 4, but his speed was comparable to Rank 6.

Today was the first time I truly learned the Terror of Supreme Elements. I never knew supreme element like Lightning can make the Black Wolf of same Rank as me, capable of throwing me like a rag doll around the castle. It was humiliating where I had Sword attack skill to kill the enemy but I couldn't use it because enemy is too fast and is crashing onto me again and again, throwing me around the room.

In this situation I took a Bold decision. Since No matter what I do, In the end he will come crashing down at me

So I simply took my stance and used ["Meteor Splitting Sword Strike"] and The next second Two things happened.

First is that Black wolf struck me in the ribs again causing me to launch towards Castle walls and coughing up Blood from my mouth.

The Second thing because I used my sword skill ["Meteor Splitting Sword strike"] at the split second before making contact with the Black wolf, He was sliced in half. But he was my current strongest enemy which I had faced till now.

I thought I was overpowered and was thinking a bit proud and might. But this Black Wolf showed me I am simply a Cannon Fodder.

(Hah, I need to learn stronger magical spells) I thought.

I was Reckless.

Just because my cultivation speed is fast doesn't necessarily mean that I am strong.

Today I definitely Won, but its only because of Sword active skill. If I was cultivating only Mage path then today, my death would be guaranteed.

Then I was teleported to the entrance of the dungeon. Then I went back to the guild and sold all remaining drops which I collected except Lightning Core. I got a total of 10 gold coin. I also upgraded my adventurer card to Rank 5. This means now I can enter Rank 5 dungeons but right now I am weak for that.

Now I dispelled my clone which was working at home, comprehending elements. Immediately a lot of information entered my head and my element Comprehension increased.
