Chapter 16 - Rank 1 Dungeon

The next morning Ray made his way to the Adventurer guild. Again he saw the same elf which helped in his registration. He went toward her.

" Oh! Sir, you are back" said the elf Mia

" Ah! Yes I wanted to ask you more information about dungeons." Said Ray.

" Sir dungeons have Four normal rooms and one BOSS Room. The difficulty of a dungeon is decided by our guild in 3 levels = Green, Yellow and Red level

Let's say sir you select a Rank 1 dungeon and its difficulty is of Green Level. This will mean that all monsters in this dungeon will be Initial Rank 1 monsters and Boss will be a Middle Rank 1 monster.

Let's say sir you select a Rank 1 dungeon and its difficulty is of Yellow Level. This will mean that all monsters in this dungeon will be Middle Rank 1 monsters and Boss will be a Peak Rank 1 monster.

Let's say sir you select a Rank 1 dungeon and its difficulty is of Red Level. This will mean that all monsters in this dungeon will Middle Rank 1 monsters and Boss will be a Peak Rank 1 monster But he will have Skills or Spells which can increase his Battle prowess and make him close to a Rank 2 monster. That's why sir Adventurer usually form a party to clear these Red level Dungeons. " Explained Mia.

" I see, please tell me about Rank 1 dungeons." asked Ray.

" Sir there are three Rank 1 dungeons and all have different difficulties.

Currently, an Adventurer party is raiding in Rank 1 dungeon of Green and Yellow level difficulty.

So sir only Red level difficulty Rank 1 dungeon is available to you.

Sir Rank 1 dungeons are of goblins.

In Green Level Difficulty. The first four room contains normal goblins and Boss is Goblin Archer.

In Yellow Level Difficulty. The first four Room contains normal goblin and final room consists of one Goblin Archer and one Goblin Warrior.

In Red Level Difficulty. The first two room contains normal goblins. Then next two rooms contains Goblin Archers and Goblin Warriors and final Boss room contains Goblin Mage.

Sir I suggest you to form a party. You can ask some Adventurer in the guild. And sir to go to the dungeon, The location of portal is on the left side of guild, in the corridor." explained Mia.

" Thank you for the information Miss Mia" said Ray. Then he directly entered the corridor leading to the portal. There was a Square Plate on the side of the portal. There he selected Rank 1 Goblin dungeon of Red Level difficulty and then entered the portal.

He was directly teleported to the entrance of the dungeon. There the guild staff member asked for his Adventurer Card and after seeing his Card he immediately gave permission.

The guild staff member was a veteran in battles, and he could tell that the person in front of him has a battle prowess of at least Rank 3 or maybe even higher. That's why he didn't ask useless questions like 'where is your party?'.

{MC POV}

I entered the dungeon. It was dark, and the only lighting source were Green colored crystals embedded in the walls of the dungeon.

I saw a gate in front of me so I directly stepped in it. Inside there were 5 goblins. But before they could even move, I blasted a hole in their heads using Rank 1 Spell Flame Missile. True I have written in the guild that I am Knight. But since now I am alone in dungeon. It doesn't matter what method I use to kill these goblins.

The next room was the same, having 10 goblins. Which I killed the same way as i did earlier in the first room.

In the next room. There were 3 Goblin archers who were hiding behind big rocks. I simply fixed my stance and using my Sword 'DeathBringer'. I performed 'Meteor Splitting sword strike'.

The next second both the Rock and Goblin archers were sliced in half. Those three archers also dropped me 3 mana core and Goblin skins which I stored in spatial ring given to me by my mom.

In the next room there were 3 Goblin Warriors. I killed them the same way, I killed the archers. They also dropped 3 Rusted swords and mana cores.

Then came the final Boss Room. The door of this room was HUGE. When I stepped inside, immediately a fireball came flying towards me.

I cast Water Bubble to defend myself from the fireball. Then I looked inside to see that Boss is Goblin Mage. He was preparing for his next spell so I decided to end him. I immediately cast a Rank 2 Spell 'Flame Blast'. Since my spell traveled fast, the mage had no time to dodge, and he turned into ashes.

I got a notification from the system

[Ding.... The user has cleared Rank 1 Dungeon]

The Goblin Mage dropped a bigger mana core. He also dropped his teeth, His skin and even dropped a crystal which he had on his staff. That crystal increases fire spell damage by 10%. It was a rare drop. I stored all the items in my storage ring then I was teleported to the entrance of the dungeon.

The guild staff member saw me and nod towards me. I also nodded back then I entered the portal to come back to the guild.

I went towards the elf clerk Mia

" I cleared the Rank 1 Dungeon. I want to upgrade my adventurer card. Also, I want to sell all my drops" I said.

" Oh! Sir, please wait a minute" said Mia.

Then she picked up the square device and asked me to place my hand on the plate. A second later it showed that I had cleared a Rank 1 dungeon recently. So Mia upgraded my adventurer card to Rank 2. Then I placed all my dropped items on the table.

" Sir cores of Goblin Archer and Goblin Warrior cost 50 bronze coin each. Sir you have 6 of such cores, so You got 3 silver coins.

Sir you have 4 pieces of goblin skin. They also cost 50 bronze each, so you got 2 silver coins with them.

Sir you have 3 rusted swords and each cost 1 silver coin. So you got 3 silver coin.

Sir now you got Goblin mage tooth which cost 2 silver coin.

Sir mana core of Goblin Mage cost 5 silver coins.

And Finally The red crystal rare drop which you got the mage costs a total of 10 silver coins.

Sir here is your total of 25 silver coins. " Said Mia, then passed me 25 silver coins. I simply stored them in my ring. Then went out of the guild, towards my inn.
