Kira drove for about two hours and thirty minutes before stopping at the ice cream shop.

She met David and the others waiting for her at the entrance.

Hey, wassup guys" Kira said greeting her three friends. They were African American and this made her family hate them. And yes, her step mom is a racist.

We are good ooo, infact we have missed you so much" Leo said.

Let's go in" Kira said placing her hand around Sam's neck.

They went in and Kira called on to the waiter and ordered the largest bowl of ice cream with chocolate, sprinkles, caramel and cookie dough as toppings and bring the bill right away" Kira said.

Her face was beautiful but there was no expression but her delicate eyebrows couldn't hide her perverse personality.

This is your order ma'am" The waiter said.

Kira nodded.

We will like to have two apple pies and two sausages" David said.

Why do you need it?" Kira asked.

We will eat this till you are done with your ice cream" Sam said.

I ordered this bowl of ice cream because I wanted us to take it together" Kira said slightly raising her brows.

You said that you have been craving for ice cream?" Leo said.

Yes but I can't even take half of it" Kira said angrily.

We are sorry" They said.

It's fine, let's start digging" Kira said rubbing her hands with a wry smile. Her smile was natural but devious.

They finished but it was too late for her to go home so she lodged in a five star hotel.

... Arlo was still on his way when he suddenly head gunshots. He began to tremble and tried to move to a safe corner.

Since his childhood, after his parents death, he began to have phobia for gunshots because his parents were shot dead in his presence.

He either looses consciousness or feels like he couldn't breathe well when this happens.

He pressed the emergency button in his car before getting out of the car with so much struggle. He managed to get to a corner and he closed his ears tightly but he could still her the sounds of the gunshots.

A lady came out of nowhere and saw Arlo trembling so she went to his side to help him up. She saw a bullet coming but she decided to take it instead of Arlo.

She took him to a safe spot and tried to see if he was alright. Arlo was about to speak when a man was coming towards them.

The lady wanted to talk when Arlo said " He's here for me" and the lady ran off.

Hey, wait, what's your name?" Arlo said quickly but she didn't respond and left.

The guy carried Arlo up and went to the car.

A lady just saved me, she even took a bullet for me" Arlo said to his pal in a cold tone.

A lady? Are you kidding me? How will a lady take a bullet for you?" Rina questioned sarcastically.

Get a drawing board for me when we get home" Arlo said in a very commanding tone.
