17- Cocoa

In all honesty, I was speechless.

Still stunned. "Wow, I honestly never thought you would apologize,"

"It wasn't an apology but - "

"Sheesh," I brought my index finger a bit too close to his soft lips, pressing them together in an attractive way as all he could do was stare in astonishment.

"Don't spoil the moment cause I accept your apology."

Hearing this, he silenced. "What's with the gloves?"

"Felt cold so I took them," I replied yawning as I felt my head getting light by the minute.

It came to me as a surprise when I began to feel a strong arm carcass my back as I began to fall only to realize it was Louis pulling me towards him.

"Rest a bit. You look cold and tired,"

"But I feel cold and at the same time tired," I said looking up to him as I waited for his approval before snuggling into his warm arms.

Feeling my eyes shut, I smiled as I wished the moment could last longer.

Right then my mind was scolding me for enjoying our closeness so much. But my body was sending opposite signals as began rubbing the sole of my back slowly as I could feel his breath on my ear.

"You know that although we are this close, after the storm we'll go back to not giving a fuck about each other right?"

Pulling away immediately, I punched him with great annoyance.

"Hey what the hell was that for?"

I wanted to say for raising my hopes although you don't know it. But since I've made up my mind never to make a fool out of myself in front of a guy again, I went with this.

"Well it's obviously because you even tried insinuating that. You know I'll never stop not caring about you just because of a storm. I mean who do you take me for?"

"A woman. All the ones I've met have twisted the meaning of everything I do. From a hug they'll assume I'm asking them out. And just a kiss then they think I'm proposing for them to be my girlfriend. That's the thing about them, they always twist things when they aren't exactly that,"

Seeing he was being honest with me, I shot at him.

"But do you really see me as that kind of girl?"

He took a good look at me before a smirk began to form. "Honestly no. When you see it's over, you don't fight for something already broken," He said. "But I think that's enough questions for now, so get a little rest for now before its time for bed,"

Hearing this, I once more laid my body on him as I began drifting into the dream world, only to be carried away by some bold and warm arms I never thought I would be in.
