Interlude - Stephanie (1)

A few minutes ago, Stephanie was sitting inside a room with multiple screens in front of her. "Fufufu, it looks like my new students are quite capable," Stephanie grinned. "Good thing I accepted the principal's offer back then. If not, I would be rotting under your shadow the whole time, little sis," Stephanie mumbled.

BEEP BEEP

"Oh, it looks like someone already cleared the first obstacle," Stephanie slightly leaned in. "It's the pairing of—" Stephanie tapped her cheek, "That orange-haired kid and the short girl. They are fast."

"Interesting…. That orange-haired kid used a unique weapon. A war scythe… Not many people could use it effectively, and the short girl used a double knife, which is appropriate for her size. Not bad…. They utilized the ARC-D better than I thought, " Stephanie summed up.

"Another one? That's fast," Stephanie's gaze turned to another screen. "Oh, it's that brown-haired girl. And her partner is that black-haired kid?" Stephanie squinted her eyes. "A clean-cut!? Impossible. It's the latest model from Cho Technology. Unless that black-haired kid could utilize his ARC-D to its maximum. And he would need six Aether Gems to unlock his Aether Core's full potential. How did he do it? Rewind, I need to rewind," Stephanie pressed a button on her keyboard. She watched the footage carefully, scrutinizing every detail possible.

"This is—" Stephanie frowned. Her eyes brightened with glee, and her expression turned to joy. "A sword with a silver hilt and a bird insignia in the center. He's an Arundel," Stephanie said, her eyes gleaming. "What are the chances that an Arundel will enroll in our school? Hmm?" Stephanie furrowed her eyebrows. "He did not use his ARC-D? Same with that brown-haired girl? Wait…. That girl is a Gifted? No freaking way! A Gifted and an Arundel have come to the branch campus? And they are all my students? What are the chances?" Stephanie's chest puffed up and down as she was filled with disbelief. "Fufufu, I won't lose to you this time, little sis," Stephanie let out a sinister laugh.
