This time, it wasn't Lai Yayan who opened the door but Chu Ling'er in her nightgown, which caught Li Weijie off guard. He was used to Lai Yayan being the one to answer the door.

"Fly... Miss Chu, why are you here?" Chu Ling'er's presence surprised Li Weijie.

Chu Ling'er glanced at him and said calmly, "Why can't it be me? Are you looking for Yayan? Come in."

Li Weijie scratched his head and smiled awkwardly, "No, every time I come, she opens the door, so it's unexpected."

"It just happened by chance. Yayan isn't my assistant, so how can she be in charge of opening the door?" Chu Ling'er gave him a disdainful look.

Li Weijie couldn't help but sigh inwardly. She truly was a beauty, even in her nightgown. Her elegance was no less captivating than her flirtatiousness, and her voice was pleasant to the ears.

"Hey, do you want to find Yayan? Come in if you do. Don't you realize it's late?" Chu Ling'er reminded him as he stood there in a daze.

Li Weijie followed her inside and said, "I came to find you."

"Find me?" Chu Ling'er was slightly surprised and then walked towards the sofa and sat down. "Why are you looking for me?"

At that moment, the closed door suddenly opened and Lai Yayan peeked out, looking at them with a teasing expression. 

"Ah... Feel free to chat, I'm going to sleep now, hehe. Don't worry; I definitely won't eavesdrop like someone!" Lai Yayan, who had previously eavesdropped on them, closed the door.

"What did you say, Yayan?" 

The beauty who had once engaged in such behavior couldn't help but blush, her voice slightly coquettish. But the teasing was over for Lai Yayan, who had closed the door.

"Why are you looking for me?"

"It seems like you care a lot about her! Is there something going on between you two?"

Li Weijie felt a little embarrassed. Was it necessary to be so gossipy? 

"What can happen between us? We're just acquaintances who happen to meet occasionally. I trust you because I'm afraid her words might make you give up."

"Do you... trust me?" Chu Ling'er widened her beautiful eyes. 

"We only met a few days ago."

"Although it's only been a few days, I trust you. Actually, even that abrasive girl, Lai Yayan, I believe she has a good nature; it's just her bad temper." Li Weijie said seriously.

Chu Ling'er smiled playfully and said, "It must be Shihan asking if you arrived at the hotel, right?" Li Weijie could tell she guessed they had just separated.

Thinking it must be that, he didn't bother to explain anything, and calmly answered the call.

"I can't sleep, so I'm checking up on you. Am I disturbing you?" It was Su Keko's voice on the phone! Her voice sounded a bit lazy, as if she was lying in bed.
